All of break.. I don't see her for all of break after that.. what the hell was I thinking I had a perfectly good friendship and I ruined.. I'm getting on the bus and all I can do is look down Matt walks over "Hey man how was break I didn't hear from ya I was beginning to worry." He says with a smirk I shrug as a response and look out the window "Dude you oka-" "Leave him alone he's obviously in pain." David says and we both look at him wide eyed "Was it her?" I sigh and nod "Give it time." I raise my eyebrow "How do you know what happened?" He picks up his book turning the page "What I lack in vocal skills I make up for in people watching." He says with a smile "Okay I liked you better as the quiet type." He nods with a slight chuckle "Most people do." He goes back to reading and I look at Matt "Well that just happened!" He said with surprise "No I wasn't there sorry." I say sarcastically "Your sarcasm isn't appreciated." I laugh "Maybe not by you." We get to the school always with a screeching halt and after I'm lifted down Matt David and I go inside and eat some breakfast David scoots his to me "Whoo second breakfast for the hobbit!!" I cheer and scarf it down the bell rings and we head off to class as we're going through the halls I look for Emily but nothing
She could be sick
It's the could that scares me
Give her time she'll come around
We'll see
I get through the class writing notes and doodling a little invader zim and gir in the corner because judge me that's why. Bell rings again off to the next class and the next and the next hours with nothing not even a text
Oh god what have I done?
Finally at lunch my phone buzzes and I pick it up with immense speed
Emily Text
"I'm so sorry about what happened that day I had just gotten the news that we would only be here another month and once you said that I didn't know what or how to feel all I could think about was the pain. Could we please meet at my place after school?"
I text her back
"Yes of course. Btw it's okay."
I go the rest of the day without another text I get on the bus and Matt and I talk about random craziness and things that come with high school drama. We get to my stop and I get off immediately I head to Emily's house and knock on the door. She slowly opens it then looks down when she sees it's me "Hey.." she says and I put my hand behind my head "Hey.." she looks up "I'm sorry." I counter "Really it's okay you were put in a tight situation." She shakes her head "Not just about that." I raise my eyebrow confused "Because I love you too.." I freeze my eyes widened a bit "But now that you know I'm moving I don't want to put you thr-" I kiss her without another word or argument she loves me someone as perfect as her loves me I can't believe it around this time she pulls me close and she kisses me back she tangles her fingers in my hair just like she did before and I pull away lightly "Distance will mean nothing you are my everything and I won't give that up so easily." She blushes "Everything?" I nod in agreement and she kisses me deeply once more "We should probably stop." I look at her confused "Why?" She clears her throat "Uh dad's home." I turn to see him with his arms crossed
