Another day another long ass day of notes and tests ugh you'd think they'd give you a test and be done with it especially on a Friday but no just the same old same old writing and writing kill me. My phone vibrates in my pocket and I check it quickly

"Guess who got a job?!"
I smile and text back
"Albert Einstein."
I keep writing just copying what's on the board

"Smartass! No me."
I roll my eyes smiling
"Where at?"
"A restaurant about 30 mins from my new place. I'll be saving money to fly out there soon."
I bite my lip lightly
"I can't wait. I love you."
"I love you too."
I close my phone and the bell rings Freedom At Last!!
I rush out "Flu season makes this place so empty." Matt says as I almost run into him "Dude where were you I haven't seen you all day." He crosses his arms "Been sick but since I live close I'm coming to get work I may have missed." I shrug "You didn't miss much." He laughs "Yeah well the old man would've made me either way." I nod "Very true." We walk down the hall chatting and catching up on our day and he nudges me "Maybe I should come over it's been a little while." I nod smiling "Yeah definitely it has." He kids in agreement "6 okay?" "6 is great." He gives me a side hug "6 it is then." He walks back down the hall and I wave at him as I head out and get on the bus I open my phone opening Snapchat and sending Emily a picture of me in one of the random daily filters and she sends me back the laughing emoji I sigh happily
I guess this isn't too bad after all she'll still visit

David walks by "You're always making that face when you're talking to yourself." I raise my eyebrow "What face?!" He tries to imitate it and we both just end up laughing and smiles before turning to his book and reading while I turn to watch the bus start leaving school
Not too bad at all
A smile grows upon my face as I finally feel relaxed about all that's been going on and just when I start to doze off my phone vibrates and I jump "Shit!" I laugh at my overreaction and open my phone
"I miss you so much."
"I miss you too but hey we'll see each other tonight."
"I knoooow."
"Good."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
Mhm not bad at all this'll get easier as time goes on. Besides she's worth the wait.
