"So, all of you have been experiencing the weird all-too-similar feeling, right?" Frank asked.
"Yeah, do you know anyone else that feels that way?" Piper said while fiddling with an empty bag.
"No, I asked a few other campers, it's only us," Jason informed us solemnly.
"Guys, I have a weird theory, but, I've got some evidence to support it," I started.
"What is it?" Percy questioned.
"I think we're reliving the past," there was silence all around the room.
"I think so too," Annabeth agreed. When Annabeth agrees to something, there's a 99% chance it's true.
"I mean, I've experienced one of those weird flashy thingies. Around the lake area, when we "stalked" you and Nico. Reminds me of Anira's first day at camp," Leo nodded.
"Wait, someone check the date," I frantically looked around for a calendar.
"July 21st," Hazel said simply. "2016,"
"Wait, isn't it supposed to be October?" Jason looked really confused.
Realisation struck me. "Today is my first day at camp. We've been thrown back in time,"
"But how?" Piper asked.
"There is no known way to go back in time. Unless you're a goddess or god or something, there is only one known way demigods can travel back in time." Annabeth furrowed her eyebrows.
"We've entered the mindscape," Leo suddenly said.
There was a sudden sharp pain at my temples. Cries of pain were heard around the cabin.
A safe place, find
The past will rewind
Find the beast,
Change the past,
Save him
The past came flooding back.
"Is everyone okay?" Hazel asked worriedly.
A few mumbles and groans sounded from around the cabin.
"Yeah, I take that everyone's alive," Percy muttered.
"The prophecy, does everyone remember everything now?" I ask.
"Yeah, pretty much," Leo answered.
"A safe place find. We've done that already," Annabeth started.
"The past will rewind, that's happening now," Jason's eyes lit up with realisation.
"So now we need to find whatever captured Nico, stop it, and save him." Frank said.
"Before the day he got captured. But, how are we supposed to find some beast if we don't know what it is?" Piper asserted.
"I don't know, but keep your eyes peeled. I have a feeling that this 'beast' lurks in the shadows. It's watching us, we need to kill it. Meanwhile, everyone do exactly what you did in the past. We can't change it more than what we're going to do. Or else, the timeline will just snap." Leo suggested.
"Leo being useful for once, wow," Frank joked.
"Anyway, look out, don't die. Remember to keep an eye on shadows. Good luck everyone," Percy said dismissively.
