I leaned toward the window as I looked away from the ridiculous boy. It was strange because I felt my heart beat faster as I thought about that small moment we shared. It was just that specific moment and even though it’s been like ten minutes, I still felt Xavier's eyes settled on me, still watching me. The bus began to move, the traffic was now speeding up.
"Why are you ignoring me?" He leaned towards me, his body heat radiating onto me. I shifted my body by accident so that I was positioned under his body. I looked to the side and caught Gabe's glaring eyes. Oops.

"Because I don't want to talk to you." I said after Gabe looked away from me then turned his glare to Xavier.

"That's mean." He sat back down and looked at Gabe. "Why is your boyfriend glaring at me as if I touched you inappropriately?" I turned scarlet.

"He's not my boyfriend! He's my friend and why are you asking me? Don't you understand that I don't want to talk to you?" Xavier sighed. He leaned to the side and closed his eyes. I quickly put the volume up all the way on my iPod in order to avoid any further conversation.

"You like Guns N’ Roses? I didn't think you were that cool." I turned my head, seeing Xavier looking over my shoulder and one of my earphones in one of his ears.

"I suppose." I muttered. Another fifteen minutes went back very quickly. Before I knew it, the bus made a sudden stop. I got up ready to walk out. Xavier stood up a couple feet taller than me, but a bit shorter than my dear brother. Speaking of my brother, he was cracking up cheesy jokes the whole time. Stupid, remember?

Xavier patted my head and headed after Gabe. Angelic ran behind me.

"Oh my God, Xavier sat next to you?! Did he talk to you? What did he say? Are his eyes really beautiful? Did you touch him?"

"Angie! No, I didn't. Yes, he did talk to me. So what?" Angie's expression darken.

"Excuse me, young lady! He's like the Sex God of everything! ‘So what’ my ass! Tell me exactly what he said! I saw you two talking but I didn't want to butt in and be a cock block!"

"Angie, what were you thinking about exactly?"

"That you two would marry and have beautiful babies, that I would be their Godmother and they would call me Auntie Angie."

We bursted out laughing. Good thing Xavier didn't listen to what Angie said. He turned around when he heard my loud laugh. But he smiled. I expected him to look annoyed. Most people do.

Gabe waited for us outside of the bus. His eyes were still full of anger. I managed to smile as I jumped off the last step.

"What's with that face?" I asked Gabe as he walked beside me.

"What face? This is a face of disgrace." I gave him a flat look.

"What? Why are you mad that I was talking to him? It's not like I wanted his attention." Gabe sighed.

"Good. Keep thinking that. You don't deserve a player like him."

"Gee, it seems someone is on his period." Angie teased.

"Shut up, Fireball.”
“You know, one day there’s going to be a song called Fireball and you’ll own me two hundred bucks.”
“Bet?”
“Bet.”

We walked to our lockers and took out all of our first and second period materials. I stuffed my sports bag at the bottom and quickly closed my locker before it all came spilling out. I was not that organized in high school. I waited for Angie before we walked to our Math class. Gabe was already there by the time we arrived. I caught a couple of girls giggling and looking at Gabe.
