I walked up to Josh's room and sat down on his bean bag chair. I looked over to the small window that over looked the backyard. I saw my parents and my uncle and aunt pick up the mess while Erix played with the twins near the pool side. I hadn't seen Josh and Kaya ever since my grandparents left. I have no problem with them, I suppose but it just annoys me that I don't know what's going on exactly. I get that people need their space but sometimes...ugh. Maybe I'm just a little noisy. It's a bad habit, I should stop.

I decided to turn my attention to his Ps and as I urned it on just see that he had paused a game on Halo. On screen it said 'Welcome back Lord Cheesehead17'. I wanted to laugh for a change but my laughter had died inside of my throat. I turned of the television again and sat on the bed. I still was uneasy about my scar. Xavier's finger had seen it and had touched it. That was far beyond my comfort zone and I'm still thinking on why I decided to show him. No one has ever seen it except for Erix since he was at the hospital with me after the incident.

'I want to be there...' He had said. No one should ever meet Roger. He was a good guy, at least that's what I remember. He was just out of high school and recently got rejected to Harvard. He wasn't THAT important to me but at one point he started to pick up Erix and I from school. He used to buy us food or take us to Disneyland almost every Friday or so for three hours just to get on Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Splash Mountain or Autotopia. It was the faint memory I had of him and the only memory I remember Erix laughing with me not at me. Then Roger had to get drunk and do that to us. I almost blame him for scarring my life but I know its not half his fault. It's the fault of those morons who rejected him and those morons who ever doubted his intelligence. He could of found a cure for cancer you know? But my parents knew justice was at their side so they put a order against him even after the police had arrested him. That's he got twelve years due to my parents' annoying lousy lawyer.

"He shouldn't meet him." I told myself.

"He who?" It was Josh standing near his door. His hair was messy and his eyes seemed exhausted in dark eye sockets.

"No one specific." I said.

"You looked nice today." He managed to smile for me. Clearly he heard the conversation with Aunt Helen.

"Tell that to them." I spat.

"They're...complicated and you know that. You know Dana and Yadra and them have their own problems and the only way they can release those problems is just by making other people lives more complicated. Sadly they just aim at you."

"Remember I'm the 'emo' one. I'm not even Emo!" Josh laughed. It was good to hear, for a change at least. He walked over to his bed and flopped right next to me. He put his head on my lap and closed his eyes. Shortly he began to snore. Poor Zazu, how exhausted he must be. He hadn't been able to sleep for the past days waiting for any news and also taking care of the twins. I feel as if I haven't been supportive, I just basically sat in the living room staring of to space or just watch T.V with my head on Xavier's or Gabe's shoulder.

"You're not emo." He said in his sleep. I patted his forehead and slowly brushed the hair out of his eyes. He needed a bad hair cut too.

"Thank you." I said. He got up and looked at me with that he's-my-cousin-and-he-can-bug-me-about-anything kind of smile.

"You know, you're pretty hot. If you weren't my cousin-"

"Disgusting Josh! Disgusting! How can you think about that!"

"Oh I'm just being sarcastic a bit. What do you want to hear? You look like a piece of shit that everyone just throws away? Jeez accept a compliment for once!"
