I stared out the window as we passed Hollywood and the beach. We stopped by City Walk to get something to eat when bunch of guys kept checking us out and to our next luck, a hot guy at Panda Express let us pay only ten dollars for four combos.
My phone kept vibrating and it was the guys asking me if Angie and I would want to go eat somewhere before the party. I told them all no and told them we were with V and H.
For the rest of the day, we just hang out and go to places and such. We also took pictures with Jesus in Hollywood and I decided to sent it to Aunt Helen. In the text I said and I'm serious, said: Jesus is at my side bitch. I see no devil next to me only next to you.
My dad called me to congratulate me for making Helen mad. I was honored by that call for some reason. Helen didn't text back and I knew she was pissed.
I was shocked when I checked the time and saw it was already six. Time to party of course. We went to the salon La Casa Romana. A nice Roman decor banquet hall that can fill up to nine hundred people. It was pretty big but lucky Veronica, her uncle owned it. We began to play around with the balloons and helped set up the food and decor. It was Vegas themed with bunch of fake poker sets and cards and money all over the place. Veronica was good at card games. It's been said she won three thousand dollars in Las Vegas playing Black Jack with George Clooney on the streets. She was big in bets, deals and winning all the way. I suppose cocktail dresses are good and I'm glad I bought Josh a new set of dress shirt and tie. I cant wait to see them!
Brandon came first since Veronica hired his dad to DJ. I would say who his dad is but its not important. Brandon is just like us, he wants to be away from all the attention and such. Just to be normal. He was pulling a cart filled with wires when he saw us. His eyes widened and a smile formed on his face.
"Damn. I think I'm getting turned on." He said jokingly.
"Shut up." He tossed him bunch of money ships at him. He shook his head and went on to help his dad.
"Yo B!" Veronica yelled.
"Yes my beautiful queen?" Oh I see what he did there.
"My king, please make sure I have my playlist on going right?"
"Totes."
"Brandon." His father said firmly at his side.
"Yes. I'll make sure."
"Mr.Music!" Veronica calls Brandon's dad that.
"Yes?"
"Surprise me."
I walked around the garden with Angie and I spotted a nice gazebo a couple of feet away. It reminded me of The Great Gatsby movie with Paul Rudd. Paul Rudd movie was okay. We walked back just to see people crowd in. There was space yes but I say crowd in because people were eager to storm in. There were parents here counting Veronica's parents and some people from her family plus Brandon's dad. Tomas came and took a glimpse at Angie.
"Hi Tomas! Didn't think you were coming." She smiled. I was laughing so hard by the drinks were he couldn't hear me.
"Yeah, uh...I came! I'm here...You look nice."
"You too." She smiled and turned around and walked towards me so sassy, I'm sure it drove Tomas crazy. He turned around and headed to Brandon on the stage.
"How was that!" She asked me.
"Freaking sexy if you ask me." I said giving her a high five.
"Now Gabe...before anything, is Xavier coming?" I wasn't sure honestly. We didn't talk if he was coming, I just basically command him to match with us.
