Mira glanced at the house in front of her before looking at the address that was scribbled on a piece of scratch paper. She pressed her lips into a thin line before pulling at the end off her cotton shirt, not used to feeling anything else except for silk.

"Well, I guess I should ring the doorbell," she muttered to herself, not really wanting to be here. She pressed the doorbell before stuffing the paper into her back pocket. She folded her arms across her chest and waited, trying to be as patient as she had been taught to be.

The door opened and a female with green eyes, brown hair, and a plump build stood in front of the doorway. Her eyes widened when they landed on her, and a grin appeared on her face. "Oh!" she exclaimed, her voice soft. "You must be Mira Nevaeh," she said, pulling the startled female into a hug. "I'm Judith, but you can call me Judy. It is a pleasure to finally meet you. Raphael has told us all about you."

Mira blinked, surprised to hear one of her Superior's name. She awkwardly patted the older female's back, not knowing what to say nor do. Her whole body was tense, because she wasn't comfortable giving this person a hug. "Ummm, it's nice to meet you, also," she said, finally, pushing Judy away.

"Not much of a hugger, I see," Judy teased, causing Mira to look down and blush. She patted her arm, reassuringly. "Don't worry, neither was I until I met my ma- uh husband."

Mira looked up confused. She knew that Judy had tried to say a different word before she changed it, and she couldn't help but wonder if that meant Judy was trying to hide something from her. "Wha-"

Judy didn't let her finish asking her question as she pulled the speech less female into the house. "Boys, get your asses down here," she yelled, closing the door to the house. "Our guest has arrived."

There was a resounding sound of two footfalls coming from down the stairs to her left. She turned to look that way and saw two masculine males coming down. Her eyes landed on the younger looking male, and they couldn't help but widen as she was met with swirling golden eyes.

"Oh, my Lord," she whispered, when she saw that he was looking at her the same way. There was this unknown pull that Mira felt, and all she wanted to do was run into this man's arms.

"Oh for fucks sake," the golden eyed boy said, angrily. He glared at her, as if Mira did something wrong. "What did I do to deserve a human?" the male spat, causing her to blink out of the trance that she was in.

"Wha-?" Mira asked, utterly confused. She pursed her lips and cocked her head, wanting to ruffle her wings at his accusing tone. Human? she wondered to herself. I'm not human, though. Is he human?

Mira knew that there other Supernatural Creatures beside Angels, but she hasn't encountered anything but Demons, even though she was a high-ranking Warrior Angel. She guarded the Humans from the Demons and did her job like she was supposed to.

"Anthony," the other male scowled, making her glance at him. He turned to look at her and smiled, but she could tell that it was forced. "Hi, Mira," he said, trying to make her feel comfortable. "I'm Raymond and this is my son, Anthony. We would like to welcome you to our family." He held out his hand, waiting for her to shake his hand.

Mira forced a smile on her face and shook his hand. She noticed that he squeezed her hand a little too tight for her liking, but she didn't reprimand and used her strength against him. "It's nice to meet you, Sir," she said. "Raphael hasn't said anything about you all, so I hope that you will forgive me."

Raymond chuckled but frowned. "Now, how do you know Raphael?" he asked. There was a warning tone in his voice, and she didn't like it one bit.

"Oh, he's a business partner," she replied. She frowned when they smelt the air around her. She knew that Werewolves had a strong sense of smell, and she couldn't help but wonder if they could be Werewolves. And, if they were Weres, then why was she here?

"Interesting," Raymond said, giving her a curious look. His whole body was tense, and she was sure that he couldn't pick up a scent on the Warrior Angel. "Now, I think you are hungry, so why don't we go and get something to eat, shall we?"

Mira grinned, trying to act respectful to his family. "That'll be lovely," she replied. Even though Angels don't eat, she added, silently while she followed the family into the dining room.

Mira couldn't help but stare at the back of the younger male in front of her. She was so entranced in the way he looked that she didn't even know why. She knew that there was a bond between them, but she couldn't help but wonder why.

His brown hair was longer in the back than in the front, and it had this messy look about it. His whole back was tensed, and she knew that he could feel her gaze on his back.

She couldn't help but let her eyes travel lower while she took in the blue collared shirt, that showed his back muscles and was tucked into some faded blue jeans. Mira despised herself for wanting to move her hand up and down his back, but she couldn't help it and she didn't even know why she couldn't help it.

"I hope you are done checking me out, Princess," Anthony said, causing the female to look up at him, to see a smirk on his face. "I'm sure your face would stop looking so lustful."

Mira couldn't help but roll her eyes before looking at Judy to see that she was watching the both of them. "I'm not actually that hungry," she said when they made it to the dining room. "Is it alright if I find my room before going out into the woods?" Mira had this urge to let her wings out, but she knew that it wasn't safe to do it.

"And why would you want to do that?" Raymond asked, tensing. His whole body was tense, and Mira could tell that he didn't trust her.

Mira couldn't help but notice the similarities between both Raymond and his son. She wondered if Judy and Raymond had any other children and if they looked like Judy. "Well," she replied, softly. "I am just curious about where I'm living, that's all. I won't go far." She sent him a reassuring smile, knowing that some of her Angel abilities were showing through.

Raymond blinked before nodding his head. "Just be careful," he said. "Holler if you need anything."

Mira nodded her head just as Judy gave her the directions to her room. She turned in that direction and started walking that way. A small smirk appeared on her face when she felt someone watching her behind, so she made sort of a show for him.
