Mira went to the bathroom and made sure that no one was in there before she turned invisible and apparated next to the Demon. She knew that the Demon would be able to see her, even though she was invisible because both of them were powerful beings in their own right.

The Demon smirked and got into the car before Mira transported into it. The Demon pushed his black hair out of his face and looked at the female up and down, his black eyes shining with lust. "You look nice today," he said, purring slightly. "Dressed up for me?"

Mira narrowed her eyes and wrinkled her nose. She was disgusted that this male had tried to make a move on her and did not like it one bit. "Do not make me blow up the car with us inside it, Joan," she warned. "I am not afraid to do that."

The Demon, Joan, snorted before he started his car and drove away from the movie theater. "Aren't Angels supposed to have manners?" he teased, causing Mira to snort and roll her eyes. "Of course, a Weston wouldn't."

Mira flinched when she heard him say her real last name. "Don't call me that." She gave him a deadly glare before looking forward. She never liked being called a Weston because her father had made her feel so... useless and killed her. "What do you want?"

"To give you a warning," Joan said, simply. "For a price." He snuck a glanced at her, again looking her up and down. Lust filled his body, creeping Mira out.

"Don't make me send you back to where you are from," Mira warned. "That'll be your price if you touch me." She clenched her hands, tightly, trying to stop the magic that wanted to leak out ever since she had stepped inside this car with the Demon.

"Awww, you are no fun," Joan teased, causing Mira to roll her eyes, again.

"What's the price?" Mira asked through gritted teeth.

Joan smirked. "Well, how 'bout I take you out to dinner?" he asked. "And then we can have a little fun." He wiggled his eyebrows, causing Mira to look away from him.

Mira shook her head. "I'll pass," she said. "Drop me back off at the movie theater, back entrance. I'll walk from there."

"But don't you want to hear what I have to predict?" Joan mocked pouted.

"Are you two?" Mira all but snapped, glaring at him. Her anger spiked, causing a bit of her magic to go past her barriers. She took a deep breath and stopped the magic before it could hurt Joan. "You have me to deal with. Be glad it's not one of the men. You'd be dead if that happens."

Joan scoffed and shook his head. "Angels," he muttered, turning the car around and going to the back of the movie theater. "Always uptight." He smirked when he stopped the car. "There is a battle coming. You are in it, and you are something bigger than you think. My suggestion is to keep your friends close, but your enemies closer." He paused while Mira got out of the car and outside. "Good luck," he said, closing the door and driving away.

Mira frowned before shaking her head. She had no idea what he meant, but she hoped that it wasn't anything bad. Deep down, however, she knew that it would be.

Mira made it back up to the front and glanced around, curiously. She frowned, her brows furrowing together in confusion when she didn't spy Tony's big truck. "They should have waited for me," she muttered. "I wasn't gone that long."

A white muscle car came into view and stopped in front of her. The window rolled down, and Mira couldn't help but scoff and roll her eyes when she saw that it was Nikolai. "Get in. They are gone," he said, his accent getting the better of him. Anger was evident on his features, and Mira couldn't help but wonder what got him so worked up.

"They are?" Mira asked, cocking her head. She knew that Bella and Jeff wouldn't let Tony leave without her. "But, they are supposed to be here."

"They aren't, Mira," Nikolai snapped. He sighed when he saw her flinch. "Sorry," he muttered. "Come on, please."

Mira frowned, but she got into the car. "Where are they?" she asked, closing the door. "What's going on?"

"Nothing," Nikolai said. He started the car and started to drive towards his place. "You are spending the rest of the month at my place."

"But why?"

Nikolai looked conflicted. He knew that Mira could command him to tell her, or he could just tell her himself. However, Nikolai didn't want Mira to feel unimportant. He knew that this Angel had yearned for a place where she was to be accepted, and she had gotten it with two people. "Raphael said so."

"You are a bad liar," Mira said. "Do not make me command you."

"I-"

"Nikolai! I command you to tell me," Mira interrupted, getting rather irritated with him. "And, I am saying this as your Elder." Her eyes lit up with anger as she glared at the male before her.

Nikolai gritted his teeth together and sighed, giving in to the command. "Tony is not letting anyone talk to you," he said, finally. "If you go back, then you'll probably see it tomorrow morning."

Mira turned towards the road, feeling betrayed and hurt. However, she knew that she would have to deal with it. She knew that this was going to be some sort of test, no matter how much she did not like to be tested. "Take me back," she whispered, not needing to tell him where to take her.

Nikolai looked at her. "Are you sure?"

Mira nodded her head. She did not say a word, her whole body tired and upset. Her fingers were clenched into fists, and she could vaguely feel her nails digging into her skin.

Nikolai sighed and turned the car around and went back to the packhouse. "If you get hurt..."

"It won't be the first time," Mira replied. Her voice was void of emotion, and she didn't even try to hide what she was feeling. "Nor will it be the last."
