After two weeks of bed rest and constant complaining, Mira was finally able to get out of bed and go back to her 'temporary' home. She was glad to be away from the constant eyes of Gabriel and Nikolai because frankly, they were starting to get on her nerves with their constant fussing over her as if she was some sort of frail piece of glass.

Nevertheless, she enjoyed that she had gotten some attention from those to men. However, she was not going to tell them that. They did not need their egos to go up in size.

"You're back!" a voice exclaimed before a body crashed into her.

Mira grunted and made sure that they wouldn't fall. She couldn't help but smile when she saw that it was Bella, and they were still friends. "Ya," she said. She hugged her close to her, relief filling her body because she was able to talk to her friends again. Mira blinked back some tears and cleared her throat, not wanting Bella to worry about her. "Why wouldn't I come back?"

"Well... Tony has been talking... and...."

Mira frowned and rolled her eyes, annoyed. "Of course, he would be talking," she muttered under her breath, knowing full well that Bella could hear what she had said because of her Werewolf hearing. "Don't worry about it. He can't get rid of me without going through Raphael," she added.

Bella pulled her back arm's length. Worry filled the poor girl's eyes, and she looked pretty conflicted. "Do you hate me and Jeff?" she asked. There was this fear that Mira hated looking at because she could tell that they thought she hated them.

Mira blinked before shaking her head, glad that they were not mad at her. "No," she said in all honesty. She, again, studied the female before her, wiping away a tear that almost fell out of Bella's eye. "You two had to follow your Alpha's order. It wasn't your choice."

"Good, because I don't know what I would do if you hated me, Angel," Jeff said, half teasingly walking over to the pair. He glanced at Mira, a deep hurt filling his eyes. Pain and respect, also, filled them, and Mira was glad to see that he did not mind hanging out with her "Why did yo-"

"I had to pretend to be a human," Mira replied, interrupting him. She smirked when Jeff growled, knowing that he was teasing her. "Bella found out because I had been in her locker and was invisible."

"You can turn invisible?" Jeff asked. Shock filled his eyes as he studied the older female. He had this sense of deep respect for her because he was sure that it took a lot of training to actually turn invisible.

"And other things," Mira replied. She moved a hand through her hair and grimaced. "I am sorry that I didn't tell you," she said, sincerely. "I didn't know how yo-"

"Don't worry about it," Jeff said, waving her off. "I am glad that I know an Angel." He wiggled his eyes, causing Mira to chuckle. "Do you think you can give the Moon Goddess a good word about me?"

Mira couldn't help but laugh, this weight being lifted off of her shoulders. She was glad that Jeff wasn't pissed at her for hiding the fact that she was an Angel. "I'm from a different place than Werewolves," she said. "Though, I've met her a couple of times on my travels."

Jeff's eyes widen in shock. "How old are you?" he blurted out.

"Over a thousand," Mira replied, shrugging her shoulder. "Angels don't age." She closed Jeff's mouth and smirked. "We don't want to catch any flies, nor do we want any more of your brain cells to fall out." She winked and a smile appeared on her face while she took in her speechless friend.

Bella busted out laughing, causing Mira to grin. She placed her arm around Mira and kept close contact with the other female. "Ya, don't look too shocked, Jeff," she teased, causing him to blush. "It's not like she is over a million."

"What are you doing here?" a male voice asked, sending shivers down Mira's spine. Happiness and disgust were evident in their voice, and Mira did not want to turn around and look at the person behind her. "I thought you were with your boyfriend."

Mira sighed and turned around, finally, to see that Tony was standing behind her. She stayed silent, while she turned back around towards Jeff and Bella, blatantly ignoring him. "I'll see you two later. I need to talk to Raymond, knowing that he probably has some questions for me."

"Wait, he knows?" Jeff asked. Shock filled his eyes, and he couldn't help but be nervous that Raymond might try to kick her out. He had just gotten her back and didn't want to lose the friendship so quickly.

"Raphael told him," Mira replied. She shrugged her shoulder before walking out of the room. She pulled her arm from Tony's grasp, not even looking at him. Mira didn't want to deal with him until he proved to her that he wanted her. Her heart ached because she had no idea when that would be.

All she knew that she had to do was wait and see.
