Jimin rustled through his things, ignoring Jungkook's pleas to keep it down.
"Where did I put them?!!"
He cried out in celebration as his hands grasped the old shoebox.
He hadn't even thought of the contents in years, but seeing BoMi so chummy with other boys hurt his ego, and he was desperate to regain his arrogance.
So he decided to read BoMi's letters.
He wanted reassurance that he was on her mind, and not those pretty boys. He didn't care who they were; they weren't him, so BoMi shouldn't pay attention to them.
One by one, he scanned over the bitter letters, a smile rising to his lips despite the insulting words.
Because at least she felt something towards him. At least, he had an effect on her.
"Oh BoMi, how can you look me in the eyes and tell me to fuck off, when these letters prove that you wished I never left?"
That's precisely why she could, because he had left.
One last letter lay dejected at the bottom of the box.
The letter that he never sent.
