Dumbledore's dream - Part 1

[Dumbledore's dream part 1: takes place in Harry and Draco's fourth year.]

THIRD PERSON

Severus Snape walked down the corridor leading to Albus Dumbledore's office, his robes billowing while he walked, as usual. Dumbledore had owled him, requesting his presence in his office. It wasn't urgent, as Dumbledore would have said so, but Snape went right away anyways. He spoke Dumbledore's favourite dessert this year to the gargoyle, and then he ascended the staircase.

Snape knocked on the door, and then he entered after receiving a 'come in'.

"Ah, Severus, you made it," Dumbledore spoke calmly and casually, as usual.

"Why, may I ask, did you request my presence?" Snape questioned, noting that he and Dumbledore were alone.

Then, Dumbledore explained to him that he had another one of his dreams, the ones where he saw two particular Hogwarts students together; dating. Whenever he had one of these, he then made it his mission to get the couple together, and he always called upon Snape to help him. He's done this seven times before, and the couple always ended up together.

"Who are the students this time?" Snape asked.

When Dumbledore answered, Snape was shocked, "Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy."

•Time Skip - next day•

Harry Potter entered his Potions class the next day, in the dungeons. Snape then told everyone they had new partners to sit next to. Harry was surprised but shrugged, and stood next to Hermione and Ron.

"These," Snape continued, referring to their new partners, "are the ones I will most likely keep you in for the remainder of your years at Hogwarts, unless a big problem occurs. I highly doubt such will happen," then he eyed them all, and the Gryffindors and a few Slytherins gulped.

Then he started reading off of a piece of parchment, "Blaise Zabini and Pansy Parkinson," they nodded, "Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley," they smiled, "Seamus Finnigan and Neville Longbottom," they breathed out sighs of relief, "Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter," Snape continued listing partners after that but Harry didn't listen.

Him and Draco?! He was shocked.. but actually kind of happy?

Draco on the other hand was ecstatic. On the inside he was jumping for joy, but since everyone thought he and Harry disliked each other, he put on an annoyed facial expression and grumbled to his fellow Slytherins. Draco has actually been in love with the Potter boy since he met him in the robe shop. He hoped their now close proximity in Potions could lead to their friendship and then maybe... Something more?

What do you guys think? I came up with this idea all by myself and in my head while I was making myself lunch hahahah. This is not the end of it, for it says "part 1". Part 2 is next, and then I'll see if a Part 3 is needed! Okay continue on! <3
