THIRD PERSON

Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy were fighting again, as they always seemed to be. In the middle of a pretty deserted corridor in Hogwarts.

That is, they were fighting until something was said by Draco to shock Harry into silence.

"Why are you always bothering me? You can never leave me alone!" Harry yelled.

Then it was said. More than said actually. Yelled. Screamed. From the depths of Draco's heart and soul, words that he meant with all of his being. Words that he had wanted to say to Harry since he first saw him. Words that he had always known were true. Words he had always kept from Harry, because Draco Malfoy was scared. Harry Potter was the one thing that scared Draco Malfoy.

"Because I love you!"

The words slipped out of Draco's mouth, without him even meaning to. They just came out, in a yell that was almost a scream. His voice cracked and his eyes filled with tears that weren't shed.

Then Draco whispered. "Damn it, I've always loved you, Potter."

Harry was shocked, to say the least. He was silent for a long time, just staring at Draco. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. He stared at Draco's lips, as if expecting them to repeat the words he had said, so that Harry could stop believing he made it up. Harry really believed he was just imagining things. Draco Malfoy, of all people, loved him? Harry had to be going crazy, but he wasn't. He knew what he heard, and knew what was said. Along with the shock he was feeling, he also felt overwhelming joy. Then after minutes of them just staring at each other, a grin broke out onto Harry's face.

Draco stared at Harry's grin, and a frown formed on the blonde's face. He didn't know why Harry was grinning. He wished he knew what was going on in the Gryffindor's head.

Then Harry marched right up to Draco, and pinned him against the nearby wall. He leaned in and whispered in Draco's ear, "Merlin Draco, do you know how much I've always wanted to hear those words?"

Draco's breaths were coming out in shallow spurts, and his heart was beating a mile a minute. Harry's close proximity and his words were making him super nervous.

Then Harry said the words that Draco had always wanted to hear from him. "I love you too, Draco. So much."

Right after, before Draco could respond, Harry's lips were on the Slytherin's lips. Harry kissed him with all the passion and depth he could, as if translating all the feelings he had felt to Draco in all those years, into a kiss. Draco kissed him back with just as much feeling, and in that moment, in a corridor all alone, they both felt happier than they ever had.
