[kitten: takes place in their third year]

DRACO'S POV

"Hey, Hermione!" I called out, spotting the bushy, brown hair in the corridor.

She turned and walked towards me, "Oh, hey Draco! What did you need?"

"I was wondering if you could tell me the Gryffindor Tower password again, I want to go see Harry," I told her.

Harry and I are best friends and I often go to his dormitory to hang out with him, so Hermione has given me the password before.

"Oh, sure! It's 'snittle litch' and hey, tell Harry I said hi! I haven't seen him since breakfast!" She smiles, turns back around and catches up with Ron who was waiting for her. (A/N: I totally made up the password, don't judge, and don't ask what snittle litch is because idk it's random haha)

When I got to the Fat Lady portrait, I spoke the password, "Snittle litch," and she mumbled some incoherent words before swinging open. There were a few Gryffindors in the common room, but when they saw me they didn't react because they're used to it. I knocked on the third year boys' dormitory door, and heard a "come in!" from Harry, and a meow? Why was there a meow?

I opened the door to see Harry playing with a brown and black kitten on his bed. Mentally, I thought 'aww' because I mean Harry is cute and kittens are cute, so combined it's just really really cute.

"Where's the kitten from?" I asked him, chuckling to myself.

"One of my friends needed me to watch it for a while," he replied, rubbing the kitten behind its ears, "her name is Cookie."

"She's so cute!" I exclaimed, petting Cookie on her back.

She walked over to me and rubbed her head on my torso, purring.

Harry laughs, "Cookie likes you, Draco."

Then I swear I heard him whisper to himself, "And so do I."

My head snapped up to look at him, and he seemed to notice I heard because he blushed and returned his attention to the kitten.

"I like you too, Harry. Who do we have to thank for this moment? A freaking kitten."
