Chapter 14: Darkness Howul, Darkness

I saw myself in darkness again, I'm lost in it, I can breathe so I yell out

"Howul? I'm scared! Howul!"

I closed my eyes again, I saw myself in my inner world, I smiled when I saw Howul.

"What is that Howul? Please tell me!"

He looked at me and had a serious face also

"Kate, that night, you were slashed by the hollow, did you appear in darkness as well?"

I nodded

"There is another soul here Kate, but not that of a hollows, but of a demon"

I stood up and looked at Howul

"How do I get rid of it?"

"You cant, it's a power you must control, don't be afraid, you just have to learn"

"But, I get scared-"

"Fear only happens when you want it to, but you don't need to feel fear, when you-"

He was cut off when he saw something behind me

"Stop telling her this crap, it doesn't matter if she's afraid of me or not, she just needs to learn"

I turned around to a woman with a ripped up dress, long black hair like mine, and she had black

shot eyes, and she looked at me and smirked.

"Listen here chicky, ya know, I know more stuff then you even know, and I'm the reason

You survived that accident with the stupid hollow"

My eyes had widened and I looked at the woman

"W-what do you mean?"

"That night, I entered your soul and body through that injury, then I made you instantly

Regenerate"

"No you didn't!"

I yelled and she scoffed, kicking my leg and I fell

"Listen here, your father, he tried to get me out of your body, I rejected his stupid kido,

He could tell I was in your body, and if you got mad, I would take over as your anger,

So he sent you to the soul Society"

I tried to get back up then the woman picked me up by the scruff of the neck.

"But my dad-"

"Shut the hell up! Your dad has been lying to you the whole time, do you think he wanted to send

You to the Soul Society?"

She let me go and stared at me

"Remember this now, everytime you want to feel mad, I'll be there, sadness, despair, anger, I'll be

there, so watch it, and another thing, your weak, without me now, you wouldn't have even

Made it into that stupid academy"

I stared at her and she disappeared, I looked at Howul and he frowned

"I couldn't control her anymore, she is a bother"

I looked down then at him.

"Why, did she look like me!?"

Howul looked down

"I don't exactly know anything about her, but I've been holding her back"

A demon, inside me, and I cant do a thing about it but try to control her, she looks like me

But she's a little older, is she trying to represent me in the future? I don't want to look like that

Neither do I want demon powers.

"Kate go back now, and if you get scared, talk to me again ok?"

I nodded and closed my eyes then I find myself in darkness, I kept my eyes closed though.

"Remember little girl, wether you like it or not, someday, you will give into my power,

Wanting to protect something, or even save your own life"

I opened my eyes to the woman in front of me again.

"Who are you?"

She laughed then smirked at me

"I'm you, just older, and more powerful"

She pointed at me then disappeared

I closed my eyes wishing for it to end, the nightmare, she cant be me, I would never give in

Never give into her power.
