Forbidden Love

Emily and Lewis

Raf sits with Lewis in the pram and doesn't really know what to do, but then his thinking is drawn away by someone standing next to him. He looks up to see Amy not very happy with him at all.

"Who's baby is this?" Amy asks.

"A friends, she's not very well" Raf mumbles.

"When did you get back?" Amy asks.

"Yesterday" Raf says and Amy glares at him. "What? I had to come back here to hand work in and I found out my friend isn't mentally well so I'm looking after her son" he replies.

"What about that brat of a child you have back at the house" she says.

"What about Emily?" Raf asks.

"You can sort her out" she says.

"What has she done now?" Raf asks.

Raf rolls his eyes "well I'm looking after her baby for now" Raf says.

"I don't care" she screams.

Lewis is startled by Amy shouting and starts to cry, "now look what you've done" she says.

He picks Lewis up at tries to settle him. "Why don't you put him in care while his mental mother gets better... well that's if she ever does" Amy says.

"No, I'm not putting the poor thing in care" Raf glares.

Raf rocks Lewis slowly, "well do something with it" Amy says.

"Get lost Amy" Raf says.

"So someone else's baby is more important than our kid now?" Amy says.

"No I'll be going to see her later today" Raf says.

"See who, who is she Raf?" Amy snaps.

"Emily" raf says

"You're bringing that back with you then?" Amy says.

"I won't be staying at the house tonight" he says.

"Where is he staying then? Please say you're leaving him with someone else" Amy says.

"No" raf says.

"What you going to do, because you're not coming home with it" Amy says.

"I have some where else that I will be staying with him" raf says.

"Good you can have Emily too, need a night without that brat" Amy says.

"Fine by me" raf says

"I'll go get her from school" Raf adds.

"Oh bag full of her stuff in the staff room" Amy says and walks off.

Raf rolls his eyes and goes to grab the bag.

Raf then goes to get Emily from school who is delighted to see Raf but is interested in Lewis.

"Who's baby?" Emily asks.

"A friend, his name is Lewis" Raf smiles as he decides to take them to Cara's.

"Can I hold him?" Emily asks as they go into Cara's house.

"Maybe in a little bit" Raf smiles.

She smiles and sits down on the sofa, "who's house is this?" She asks.

"My friend's" Raf smiles.

"Can I hold Lewis now" Emily asks.

"Soon he's sleeping" Raf smiles.

"When is soon" she sighs.

"Why don't you tell me about school Em" Raf suggests and sits her on his knee.

"It's really good, in science I'm learning about the solar system and Mrs Willis said I'm really good" Emily giggles.

Raf smiles and says "you got a boyfriend yet then madam"

"Daddy I'm only 7... have you got a girlfriend?" She giggles.
Raf shakes his head, "Don't you love mum?" Emily questions.

Raf doesn't say anything but kisses Emily's head, "Mummy is mean" Emily smiles as she cuddles Raf tightly.

"Why" Raf asks.

"She hurt me" Emily mumbles.

"Show me" Raf says.

She stands up and pulls her tights down and shows him what looks like a burn.

"Oh darling what did she do?" Raf asks. Emily bites her lip and pulls her tights back up.

Raf put her on his knee and says "please tell me darling."

"Mummy was cooking and I accidentally dropped an egg" Emily begins.

Raf just hugs her, Emily smiles and hugs him tightly. "I love you Em" he smiles.

Emily says nothing and after a bit Raf realises she's fallen asleep on him.

He lays her on the sofa, Raf then checks on Lewis who is spark out.

He smiles and quickly goes to make himself a drink. He has a look in the fridge and makes Emily some fish fingers.

Once cooking the fish fingers her takes them to the table and goes to get Emily.

He wakes her and tells her where her dinner is as Lewis is starting to get restless. He picks Lewis up and tries to settle him.

"Daddy is there any ketchup?" Emily asks.

Raf has a look, "I don't think Cara has any sweetie" Raf says.

"Okay" she says.

She continues to eat and watches Raf giving Lewis a bottle.

Once she finished eating she just sits there, "You okay Em?" Raf asks.

She nods and gets down from the table and walks over to Lewis and watches him.

Raf smiles at her "Can I hold him now?" She asks.

"Go sit on the sofa then" Raf smiles.

Emily giggles and gets up on the sofa, Raf picks up Lewis and walks over to Emily.

He sets her down in her arms and she starts to smile.

Raf takes a picture of the two making sure the flash is off, "Daddy he's really big" Emily giggles.

"No he's not" he laughs.

"He is" she giggles.

"I'll show this lovely photo to his mummy when she's better" Raf smiles.

Emily looks down at Lewis. "He's really cute" she giggles.

Raf kisses Emily's head and smiles at her.
