-Nanami's POV-
"Eh, are you serious?" I frowned a little. I was sipping on a packet of orange juice.
"Yeah! I totally saw Ichinose-kun confessing to another girl!"
"I bet he's a playboy!" Miki-chan scoffed.
"WHO'S A PLAYBOY?!" I heard Kei's voice from afar.
Kei then came over to where Miki-chan and I were sitting.
"Hey." I smiled to Kei.
He gave me a cute smile in return.
"Hey Inoo-chan, we were talking about Ichinose-kun."
"Him again? What now?" Kei frowned.
"Well, I saw him confessing to another girl just now."
"Eh? Does that mean...he wasn't serious about Nanami from the start?"
"Tsk. Exactly!"
"The fact that he made you feel so bad about it! That guy..." Kei said.
"Hmm..I should be glad that he's not serious then.." I said calmly.
"You're too kind, Nanami-chan." Miki-chan was way more agitated than I was.
We were on the rooftop having our lunch break. It's windy here so usually we'll come up here to hang around.
Suddenly, the door opened revealing Dai-chan.
"Yo, Dai-chan." Kei said as he threw one packet of juice towards Dai-chan.
"Thanks."
"Ne, Dai-chan.." And, of course, Miki-chan repeated the story about Ichinose-kun to Dai-chan.
"By the way, I have an announcement." Miki-chan suddenly said.
We immediately turned our bodies around to face Miki-chan.
"I broke up with my boyfriend."
"EHHHHHH?!?!?!"
"WHY? What happened?!" I was shaking her shoulders vigorously.
"Woah, calm down. It's nothing big. We just thought that we won't make it." She held my arms, trying to stop me from shaking her shoulders.
My jaw dropped at how calm and easy Miki-chan was.
"I wouldn't be able to say something like that if I broke up." I blurted.
"Oiiii, what are you saying?" Kei looked at me with widened eyes.
"OH! Nooo, I don't mean it that way!" I shake my hand frantically.
"I want to keep quiet for awhile." Kei pouted.
"Ehh...I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. Please forgive me." I nudged his arms but he just ignored me.
"I will if you..." Kei came closer towards my face.
"AHEM." I heard Miki-chan and Dai-chan cleared their throats.
"We're still here guys." Dai-chan laughed.
"Oops. Sorry." Kei scratched his head.
I turned back to face Miki-chan.
"But are you really okay?" I said worriedly.
"Yep! Don't worry~ I'll go out there and find someone even better!" Miki-chan raised her hands up.
At that moment, I noticed a slight change in Dai-chan's expression. It wasn't really readable but it was definitely weird. He looked like he was thinking of something deep, really deep.
