Kaycee Pov;
I froze.
All the memories of him I had came flooding back to me.
They were faint and little but there.
He was looking at me and I was looking at him.
Things couldn't have been more awkward. I think he knows who I am and I think he knows that I know who he is and I think he knows that I know that he knows who I am. You know?
"Cece? Cece!" Trey snapped.
"Huh?, oh... sorry" I muttered.
"Kaycee" My sperm donor said.
"No" I said firmly. I looked in his eyes and shook my head. "Excuse me" I said to everyone whom we've managed to get their attention.
I got up.
"Kaycee wait!." He said.
"I said no!" I said a little louder and impossibly firmer.
I walked away from the table going to the nearest door possible.
I went outside, and headed to the direction of the car.
I hugged myself against the night's cool air, it has gotten really cold.
I heard footsteps behind me and got in defense mode.
Kendric Pov:
"I said no!" She said again a little firmer.
I watched her walk away.
I hesitated to run after her.
"excuse me" I said getting ready to follow her.
"No! You're not going after her." Trey snapped.
He was making a scene and I just got out of the pen and wasn't looking forward to going back.
"Yes, I am" I said calmly already on my way to the door.
He came toward me looking ready to attack, it looks like a vein was getting to pop out his neck.
"What you said nigga?!" He started getting loud.
"Dre, get your son and tell him to stay out my business" I said calmly before I walked out and ran after Kaycee.
Trey Pov:
I was getting ready to run after that nigga when I heard "Trey!" my dad boomed.
and he only used that voice when he meant business.
"Come sit down." He said.
"But dad" I complained.
He shook his head.
"Don't mix yourself in family matters" He said low enough for only me to hear.
I snapped my head towards him.
I felt even more confused than I already was.
What does he mean family matters?
Kaycee Pov:
"Kaycee wait! Please!" I heard as the footsteps get closer.
I whirl around all the hurt and anger , he caused came to the surface.
"Wait.... you want me to wait" I said laughing, I shook my head and continued walking speeding up my pace.
He easily caught up and kept up my pace.
