It's been literally three days since I had lunch with Leander pero parang hindi pa rin maka move on si Kristine sa nangyari.

Gaya nalang ngayon.

At anong Knight in Shining Armor? Si Leander? Kung alam niya lang, it has always been the other way around.

I rolled my eyes at the thought at tamad na tinignan si Kristine.

"Just give me a sandwich and a cup of coffee. Hindi pa 'ko nagugutom and I still have a lot of work to finish. Pero para matahimik na iyang makulit mong kaluluwa, I'll just eat something. Pwede na ba? Now you can go." I dismissed her. She gave me a playful salute first before leaving my office.

I have to finish checking all these documents para makapag-imbestiga na ako ulit sa mga Incognito.

I couldn't imagine how much stress he would get from it.

Once I was done with the first pile of documents, I immediately went to the next one.

Pero agad rin akong napatigil sa aking ginagawa when an email popped on the screen of my computer. It's my personal email na gawa ni Alonzo, and the email contains a picture from a cctv footage.

It was an email from Cormac.

And the people in the picture were Homer Berlusconi, Armando's eldest son, with Benjamin Rosal.

What is the meaning of this?

I immediately closed the email at inabot ang aking telepono. A Berlusconi is meeting with my Prinary suspect as the Incognito's masked boss? It's too much of a coincidence.

The door in my office was aggressively opened and the loud bang from its impact got me by surprise.

If there's anything that irks him more other than the Mafia problems, it's getting his clothes stained.

"What happened?" Tanong ko sa kaniya. He was angry—oh no, he was furious.

"Your secretary happened." He replied through gritted teeth.

"Kristine? What about her?" Nakakunot-noo ko ring sagot sa kaniya.

And then it hit me. The coffee stain must have come from the coffee I ordered Kristine to get me for lunch.

"I'm so sorry for that. Where is she?"

A shivering Kristine entered my office. God, this is my fault.

Cormac retorted.

"P-pero nag-sorry na 'ko sa 'yo ah." Depensa naman ni Kristine. I'm amazed by how she's still capable of talking back to Cormac kahit na alam kong kinakabahan na siya. If looks could only kill, Kristine might have been long dead by now.
