"Leander, can you promise me that you won't go anywhere na hindi ako kasama?" I kept a calm disposition as I faced him. I don't want him to be skeptical of my sudden request. I have to keep it cool.

Nang makapasok kami ng kwarto ay agad ko itong ni-lock. I gestured him to sit down at the edge of the bed at sinabi kong kailangan naming mag-usap.

If they can sneak through our defenses and plant a bomb in our room, ano pa kaya ang pwede nilang gawin pag nasa open area na si Leander?

Sabagay, wala nga naman siyang alam. Paano niya naman poproblemahin eh wala nga siyang ideya sa mga nangyayari sa paligid niya. I'm doing all the worrying here.

He let out a soft sigh before finally meeting my eyes. His gaze softened at the crumpled look on my face.

"But seriously, what are you worrying about Schwyze? May dapat ba 'kong malaman?"

I raised an eyebrow at him saka marahang umiling. He did not reply, instead he stood up from the bed at humakbang palapit sa 'kin.

And as he takes a step forward, kabaliktaran naman ang ginagawa ko. Humakbang ako palayo at seryoso siyang tinignan.

"What are you doing?" I said through gritted teeth. Pero imbes na sagutin ako ay patuloy lamang ang paghakbang niya papalapit sa akin.

"Leander, stop this nonsense at once!" Sita ko sa kaniya pero ay ginantihan niya lamang ako ng isang mapaglarong ngiti.

"Leander, isa!" I warned him at tinulak siya palayo. I strode towards the couch at padabog na naupo doon while crossing my arms and legs.

Kailangan ko pang makausap ang buong Montisanti mamaya tungkol sa nahanap na bomba ni Alonzo. I just hope Alonzo already found the origin of the bomb. Para magka-lead kami sa kung sino man ang naglagay nito sa kwarto namin.

Although I may have an idea already. Kung sino man ang nagtanim nito dito.

"I'm sorry for teasing you. Pero Schwyze. You should not be worrying about anything. Walang masamang mangyayari sa 'yo rito. But if it's what makes you and your mind at peace, then okay. I'll never leave your side." He sat down beside me and reached for my hand.
