Imagine: Sam had a major crush on you. You liked him back but you were way better at hiding it. Anyways while you were explaining the last solo case you went on, he couldn't help but admire every feature on your face which caused him to stop paying attention.
You: "so I was in the bar when I noticed a guy checking me out. He seemed suspicious and he was already in my head for a suspect. So I went outside and he followed and- are you even listening to me?"
Sam: *snaps out of his daze* "huh what? Oh yeah totally. That suspicious guy."
