Imagine: Sam when you told him you were leaving. You and Sam haven't been getting along very much lately and you've been wanting to leave the hunting business for awhile. Even though you still loved him and he still loved you, you couldn't take it anymore. So while you were packing and Sam came in, you had to face him instead of sneaking out.
Sam:"(y/n)? What are you doing?"
You: "I'm leaving Sam. I can't take it anymore. The hunting and losing people. Not to mention you clearly don't want me around. I was hoping I could leave discreetly."
Sam: *sits down and makes a face* "that's not true."
You: "what part?"
Sam: "me not wanting you around. You're the best thing that's happened to me since Jess. And it scares me so I'm sorry I've been taking it out on you but please don't leave me."
You: "I'm sorry. I already texted an old friend who left the hunting business too. I'm staying with her for awhile."
Sam: "(y/n) please. I love you."
You: "I love you too. Which makes this so much harder."
