It been a week and a couple of days now that Lily and I have been living together. As housemate, tenants or whatever you may call it and I can only tell you it been miserable.
I haven't been eating anything healthy to say the least and the funny thing is Lily doesn't even bat an eye in my direction. It like I have become invincible.
She has totally changed like turning a wheel 360. She comes home late in the night and dress so indecently. She doesn't listen or bother replying me anytime I talk to her.
I just can't bear it anymore I need good food in my life that why I have to remind my mother about the housemaid I requested.
Picking up my iPhone 6s I dialed my mum no and she didn't answer until the forth ring.
"Hello my dear son" she said
"Good afternoon mother"
"How is my handsome son this beautiful afternoon?
"Am not fine mother "
"Oh what is wrong are you feeling unwell? She replied
I heard some shuffling underground which only means she is about to get serious
"Am fine mother I have just been so malnourished this days"
"Malnourished? What do you mean isn't that witch cooking fir you"
"Mum you seem to forget we are no longer together" I answered
"Well tgat doesn't mean she shouldn't perform her duties at least she is staying in a rent free house. It the least she can do to show appreciation."
"She is just an housemate since we all signed that agreement so she is not bonded by any law"
"Just eat at an eatery or something until we can come up with something" she mumbled
"Eww I can't do that"
"Why not what is wrong with eating a fast food? She questioned
"For your information mother I don't eat stale food. My food must be fresh and served nothing after15 minute of preparation" I answered
"What? What is that?" She asked dumbfounded and am sure her jaw are almost hitting the floor if I can see her.
"You mean that woman have been cooking fresh foods for you for the past 10yrs?"
"Well 12yrs I will say and fruits included. That beside the point and it her duty" I shrugged nonchalantly
"Woow that okay I guess. Just manage till the weekend then I will come over to prepare something for you and don't you dare roll your eyes at me young man" she said knowing me too well cause that what I did
"Huh alright mum I just hope I don't die before then" I sighed dramatically
"You will not my Kenkitty" she cooed at me
I whined at the nickname I hate so much
"Don't call me that mom I am a grown man" o replied
"But you will always be my baby" she laughed " bye my dear talk to you later I have a Women conference meeting to attend"
"Bye mum later" I replied before disconnecting the line.
I guess I will have to wait for her to come over hopefully it will be sooner than later
