Saturday Morning

I was in the kitchen talking with my best friend Abby and making each of us a bowl of cereal.
-Phone Vibrates
I looked at the notification on my phone and smiled, it was Zae.
"Who's that?" Abby asked curiously
"This guy named Zae." I replied
"Why you smiling, what'd he say?" Abby asked
"He just said hey." I said dryly
"So what you smiling for?" Asked Abby
"I don't know, what's with all the questions?" I asked squinting my eyes
"Well excuse me." She says putting her hands up.
I replied back to Zae and said morning and in no time my phone went off again
Zae: Wyd?
Me: Making breakfast wbu?
Zae: Not much make me some.
Me: You like fruit loops?😂
Zae: Nvm😂
For the rest of the day Zae and I talked getting to know one another and just senseless conversation. I learned that he can be insecure at times and many girls don't find him attractive because of his acne on his nose. I thought the man was fine regardless 😻 but he didn't believe me. Every time a notification popped up from him I smiled to myself, I don't know what it was about him that made me react in such a way. I just hope I'm not catching feelings. At least not yet...
