"I got an offer today after the game." Zae says
We were on Facetime he was out of town in Vegas with his basketball team. They traveled over the summer to compete for titles.
"Really?! Where was the recruit from?" I asked excitedly
"Canada. He said he's been watching my film on YouTube and has been coming to my games and he likes what he sees."
"You take the offer?"
"Hell nah. I don't wanna go to Canada the fuck."
"Well then." I laugh "It's good you're getting offers this early on though I told you you're gonna make it to the NBA."
"I'm not going to the NBA Sophia I'm not that good." He says
"Stop being so negative, where's that confidence at? You gotta be hungry for it Zae, you gotta want it." I encourage him
He drops his head down and twists his hair. He was processing everything I said.
"You know I miss you right?" He smiles looking up at me
I blush. I didn't want to show it though so I look away from the camera.
"Is that so?" I ask
"Yeah it is so and I know your ass misses me too even if you don't wanna say it."
He swears he knows me so well
"Whatever Zae." I giggle
"You not out there cheating on me right?" He asks
"Last time I checked I'm not in a relationship so who exactly would I be cheating on?" I ask smartly
"And last time I checked you told me that that pussy is mine. Remember that?" He slyly smirks
Damn it that was a good ass comeback
"Ahh see you all quiet now."
"Zae shut up." I laugh
"I'm being deadass though you haven't been seeing nobody else right?"
"No Zae I haven't."
"Good." He smiles "Well I gotta get up early for our drive back to Colorado tomorrow so I'll text you when I wake up."
