I was cheering Sophia on as she was twerking. Some random tall nigga started coming behind her and all his friends were gassing him up. I shook my head and laughed as I felt hands on my waist. I turned around and looked to see who it was. He was brown skin. He was wearing a red polo sweater and tan pants, with a earring stud in his right ear. He was cute. He smiled at me and pulled me closer to him. I started throwing it back and stuck my tongue out.
"Damn!" He said.
I smirked to myself and twerked on him for a little more then I got up once the song ended. I was going to walk away but he grabbed my hand.
"Wait, what's your name?" He asked licking his lips
"Umm it's A-Ab-Abby." I stuttered his lips were throwing me off
"Well I'm Pryce." He smiled "I never seen you at this school before."
"Yea I don't go here, I go to Overland but I came here with my best friend Sophia." I said shyly
"Why you acting so shy, relax." He said stepping closer to me, my heart almost jumped out my chest
"Sorry." I blushed
"Don't be, so can I have your number I wanna get to know you better?" He asked taking out his phone
"Hell ye- I mean yea sure." I smiled containing my excitement
I put my number in his phone and handed it back to him.
"Expect a text from me beautiful." He said as he walked away
"Okay." I said watching him walk away
"I was looking for you." Sophia said walking up to me "Who was that boy you were talking to?"
"His name is Pryce." I smiled
"Oh, he goes to Overland you know get you some." She said gassing me
"Stooopp." I said hitting her
He sure was acting like he goes to Rangeview though. Ah well I shrugged
Sophia P.O.V.
For the rest of the night the Dj played dubstep which made me salt. Like I'm tryna get lit not pump my fist in the air. I stood around and watch my friends make a effort to turn up anyways and laughed at some white people dancing off beat. Before you know it the lights came on and it was time to go home. I looked around to see if I would see Zae again and I did. He had his arm around some light skin chick. I rolled my eyes and walked out the gym. Why did that bother me so much. It's not like I like him. Do I?
