"You got a dollar?'" My friend Savon asked me
"You ask me that everyday." I laugh "Get a job Savon."
"Nahh I'm good." He shrugged "Send me your notes cause you know I be sleepin' in class."
"Okay I will."
He gives me a side hug and walks down the hallway
"What I tell you about that friendly shit with niggas, huh?" Pryce semi-yells walking up to me
Here we go again. Almost everyday me and Pryce are arguing over me having a simple conversation with another boy. I like him being clingy but he gets jealous for no reason.
"Nobody was being "friendly" so quit tripping." I roll my eyes walking away from him
"You're not about to walk away from me." He says grabbing my arm
"Pryce, what is your problem, every time you see me with a guy you trip for no reason. We've been together over 7 months, shouldn't that tell you I only want you?"
"Time don't mean shit Abby."
I just looked at him. What does he mean time don't mean shit? All the time and effort I put into this relationship when I could've put that into something else, and he's gonna tell me time don't mean shit.
"I don't know what the fuck is wrong with you Pryce and why you choose to argue with me every day all of a sudden but I'm not messing with it at all. The only reason you trip over seeing me with other boys is because you don't trust me and you can't say else.I made a mistake in the past but I definitely didn't cheat on you nor did I try to purposely hurt you." I point at him "You know what, you right time really don't mean shit. Look how long we've been together and you still don't trust me. Shit is honestly sad." I say looking down
Before he could say anything else, I walk away. This arguing shit is for the birds. I start walking home ignoring anybody who called my name. A relationship can really drain you.
