I was at home doing homework upstairs listening to music. Zae and I talk everyday now. Well text. Anyways this weekend is homecoming, and sadly my boyfriend Caleb can't come. Yes my boyfriend, he doesn't go to my school but I see him on the weekends sometimes. He's a good guy. I'm taking my best friend Abby instead it'll be lit, hopefully. Zae doesn't know about Caleb, but I don't really have any reason to tell him. Speaking of the devil my phone vibrated.
Zae: You going to homecoming with anybody?
Me: No. Why?
Zae: Just curious 🤷🏽♂️
Me: Mhm. What about you, are you going with anybody?
Zae: Nahh I'm riding solo dolo just me and my homies.
Me: I can relate.
I locked my phone and laid back on my bed. Did Zae want to ask me to homecoming? I mean why else would he ask if I'm going with somebody. My thoughts wee disturbed by my phone ringing, it was Caleb
"Hello." I said softly into the phone
"Hey beautiful what you up to?" He asked
"Not much just homework." I said
"How was your day?" He asked
"It was good" I said thinking about Zae "How was yours?"
"It was interesting today......"
I zoned out. Maybe I'm thinking about this too hard maybe Zae was really just curious. I guess we'll see.
