Kat's POV

As I lay in bed is easy for me to fall asleep again, when I wake up it’s 10 am. I walk down the stairs and find Lisa and Robert on the kitchen I sit with them and grab a toast and coffee. Gosh how I love coffee.

“Did you sleep well?” – Lisa asks.

“Yeah I did. I am just trying to fit in this new time zone.”

“You’ll adapt quickly you’ll see.” Robert says.

I smile.

Strange because usually I don’t smile in the morning. I am not a morning person, usually nobody can talk to me.

“We’re leaving to church in 30 minutes, maybe you should get dressed.”

“Okay. Where is Nicole? Is she coming?” I ask.

“She is sleeping, but yes she is coming, I am going to wake up her now.” Lisa answers.

I walk out of the kitchen and go to my bedroom. Open my closet to decide what I am going to wear. I had to buy an entire new close to come to London.

Australia is so hot, and London is cold and rainy. I bought jumpers, sweaters, coats, everything to keep me warm.

We’re at the end of August so the weather is not that bad. I chose a shirt, a blue cardigan, skinny jeans and ballerinas.

When I am done I check my phone. Maybe I should call my mom now.

I digit her number and she answers right away.

“How are you darling?”

“Hey mom, I am fine.”

“I miss you already.”

“I miss you too mom.”

“So what are you doing today?”

“I am going to church and then Lisa and Robert will show me the city”.

“I hope you have fun. Since you went two weeks earlier try to get to know the city.”

“I will mom, now I gotta go.”

“Bye honey.”

“Bye mom.”

As I walk out of my room I bump into Nicole. I smile to her and she just looks to me. There is something in her eyes, in her face that makes me think that she is worried.

“Are you ready?” She asks.

“Yes, let’s go.”

She looks really beautiful, she is wearing a dress, a cardigan and high heels.

Nicole is away more tall than me and she looks like a girl from a movie, I wish I had half of her beauty.

We leave the house and go to the church. The time flies and when I realize we’re coming back home, they spent all the afternoon showing me the city of London and the principal attractions.

We dinner and before I go to bed Lisa come to my room to talk.

“So how are you feeling?” She asks.

Lisa is so nice, she is always concerned about me.

“Great!”

She smiles.
