Chapter 14

 Kat's POV

 

When I grab the package I feel different emotions.

First I feel joy because I love surprises.

But then I feel anger when I realize who sent it.

It’s from Matt.

I like him, Matt is one of my best friends but he is also the brother I never had.

I look at him and I see a big brother.

And I know he didn’t send me a gift that a brother would give to a sister.

I decide to open it.

Inside the package I find a perfume and chocolates.

Oh random.

This is so cliché.

I don’t know what I will do.

I am in a big mess.

I have to solve this thing. I have to solve everything with Matt, he has to know how I truly feel.

And I have to find a solution for my other problem.

I have to find a way to forget Niall because I am starting to think that I made a bad decision.

I mean, I left him and my feelings hadn’t change.

I still like him, I still love him.

I wish I could forget about this for a couple hours.

I decide to put my headphones and listen to some music, while I am eating the chocolates Matt gave me.

They are quite good and after all they are useful, I can depress while eating them.

 

 

 

“Kat are you hearing me?”

I don’t react.

“Kat?”

Suddenly someone shakes me.

“Hey Kat.” Matt says shaking me.

I look to him and he is looking at me and he looks concerned.

Emma and Damian are also looking at me.

We are in the school cafeteria eating.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I was hearing his voice but it felt like he was miles away.

“Sorry. I couldn’t hear you with all this noise.” I lie.

I mean the cafeteria was full but I could perfectly hear him.

“What do you want?” I ask him.

“Do you want to go for a walk after school and maybe talk a little?”

YES YES. We really need to talk.

“Yes sure.” I reply and try to look careless.

But I really have to talk to him, I have to end this.

 

 

When our classes are over, me and Matt walk to the park.

When we get there he holds my hand.

Oh no, not again!

I want to drop his hand but I have to handle this with careful.
