(Y/N) hastily made her way to class, twisting and pushing through the of students moving the other way.

'I feel like part of an active transport'. (Y/N) chuckled lightly at her joke, feeling it was quite appropriate considering she was on her way to science.

She skidded into the classroom right as the bell rang and sighed in relief.

Some people had already sat down, while most were standing up, waiting for directions from the teacher or simply talking with friends. (Y/N) looked around, only to see a few acquaintances and no one she would consider a good friend. The teacher was typing away on his computer, looking as though he was still preparing for the class. He looked to be in his late-thirties, as his messy hair was speckled with bits of grey, and his face seemed to just start to be wearing down.

The class was quite loud, as there was a bit of talking and a whole lot of squealing. (Y/N) looked around to find where said squealing was originating, and set her eyes on a group of loud-mouth girls swarming something. She walked a bit closer in order to find out what was so important and found the source to be a boy with teal eyes and silvery-white hair. He was spitting out flirtatious compliments and pick-up lines left and right, which would inevitably leave the whole group of girls swooning.

(Y/N), on the other hand, did not find his words as romantic as they were idiotic and pervy, although she had to admit he was very attractive. When the boy glanced at her, mouth agape as though he was about to say something, she walked to the other side of the classroom and sat down. The tables were ones for partners, and no equipment was set out yet as it was the first day. No one besides the boy even seemed to notice (Y/N) was there, and the group of girls continued to fawn over him, even when the teacher stood up and walked in front of the class.

"Ahem." He coughed rather loudly in order to get the class's attention, and after a few glances and looks of realization that class was now starting, he got most of it. "Good to see most of you made it. My name is Mr. Kurihara, I will be your science teacher this year." His tone was monotone and completely lacking any enthusiasm as he scanned the class slowly, "For now, you will be sitting in assigned seats."

Mr. Kurihara picked up a clipboard, .

"Everyone please stand in the back. When I call your name, please go to your seat." He looked down at the list, tiredly scanning the names written down prior to the start of class.

The students went to the back and waited for Mr. Kurihara to start calling names.

"Rin Mikari," he said pointing to the first table, "and Kimi Ogino."

The two girls that were called walked towards the front of the classroom and sat in their seats. (Y/N) saw that they came from the mob of fangirls that were surrounding that boy, but she also recognized Kimi as she was the most popular girl in the grade. Both girls seemed happy to be with each other, but they also looked back and the silver-haired teen and pouted, probably hoping they'd with sitting with that boy.

Mr. Kurihara continued calling out names, (Y/N) saw how each girl from that group seemed more disheartened than the last, losing their hope they'd be with the flirt.

It was down to the last row, and (Y/N) was still waiting to be called, as was the boy.

"(Y/N) (L/N)," She breathed a sigh of relief as she was finally called, "and Yukio Suzuki." She turned her head to see who was called, and suddenly felt a pang of dread. It was the person most of the girls in the class had been hoping to sit next to, the silver-haired little flirt apparently named Yukio.

Both students walked over to their assigned seats, and Yukio wore a sly smile. Almost every girl from the squealing group, especially Kimi, was glaring daggers at (Y/N). She wore a grimace and put her things down, trying not to look at Yukio, as she was afraid just looking at him might give him too much interest.
