(Y/N) explained everything to Keshi. How she thought it was all her fault, how she was worried about what people thought of her, and also how she didn't want to keep hanging out with the boys anymore. She didn't feel like it was their fault, but at this point, they were causing a lot more harm than good. (Y/N) also wanted to show her friends how much she cared about their friendship, and she still needed to clear up everything with Ayako and Itsumi.

(Y/N) also told Keshi about how she was hanging out with Yukio on Saturday, and she was still planning on going, but she would stop contact with them after that. Keshi did not seem very fond of (Y/N) going over to the silver-haired boy's house, but he reluctantly agreed that she should still go in the end. (Y/N) only thought she should go as sort of last courtesy before she decided to take a little break from her friendship with the guys.

After about an hour or two, Keshi left, and (Y/N) hugged her knees tightly to her chest. She didn't know why she was worked up, but it just felt like she was only a burden to people. She didn't really feel like going to school tomorrow. (Y/N) knew not everyone would ostracize her, but she really didn't want to be harassed by anyone, and she also wanted to fix things with her friends. She wanted to call them, but (Y/N) knew that she'd either be met with silence or yelling and blaming. It was a bit too raw to try and fix things right now, but she had a feeling that she would be able to work through everything in a few days, especially with Keshi by her side.

The teen looked outside with a dazed look on her face, watching the cars and people pass by and she sat in silence. Her mind was blank.

(Y/N) stayed there for a while, just looking out the window. She didn't know what else to do. When she looked at the time, it was almost 5 o'clock, and (Y/N) hadn't eaten much at lunch, so she decided maybe she could go grab a little something to cheer her up. She rose from her spot, her legs a bit shaky from not moving for so long. The girl quickly changed from her pajamas into a more casual outfit, grabbing her wallet and her phone. She rode her (F/C) bike to the town square, something she normally just did when she was going to be there for a short trip. It was nice to feel the breeze blow through her hair, and it helped to keep her mind from overflowing with anxiety and worry.

She chained her bike to the rack, her hands trembly slightly as she scanned the area, looking for anyone that she would want to avoid. Luckily it was a Thursday night, and now many people were out and about, but (Y/N) knew not to test her already pretty crappy luck. She walked into the grocery store, and she immediately felt much better once she saw her favorite snacks.

When she walked out of the store, (Y/N) probably ended up with a lot more goods than she had expected. She had gotten her favorite chips, ice cream, candy... basically just a lot of stuff. (Y/N) already felt a lot better, too. Doing anything at this point was a great way to keep her mind off of everything. Although the more she thought about it, the more stupid the situation seemed to become. Sure, it sucks to have your best friends basically call you a nasty hoe, but there are a lot worse things that could happen. She still wasn't going to school. (Y/N) did know that that would not go over very well.

The teen felt good, walking out to her bike with her goods carried in each hand. (Y/N) set the grocery bags in her basket, and she began to unlock her bike from the rack. Just as the (H/C)- haired girl was about to mount her two-wheeled vehicle, she spotted something out of the corner of her eye. It was a girl in her grade, just standing there. (Y/N) instantly tensed hoping that she wouldn't be seen. (Y/N) couldn't quite remember the girl's name, although she did have classes with her, and she knew exactly what that girl was like. She was one of those girls who thinks they're so popular when really they just butt into every conversation and try to act like people actually like them. Needless to say, this girl was not the best person for (Y/N) to run into. But, as luck would have it, just as (Y/N) was about to turn herself around and be on her way, the girl looked right at her.

(Y/N) was surprised to see the girl give her a slight wave, to which she politely returned. She then quickly turned her bike, starting her short trek home.

(Y/N) took a deep breath, she really needed to keep her crazy, wild imagination in check sometimes. When anything happened, it was just like a whole hive of bees that word not stop buzzing. She chuckled quietly, almost creepily, to herself. This is just what she needed. Time to think. Time just for her. No one insulting or calling her names. For the first time in what felt like forever, (Y/N) felt light and free, like a great weight had just been lifted off her shoulders. A small smile crept its way onto her features. Now, of course, she knew that the burden would return the moment she set foot into that dreaded school building, but now she felt ready to take it on... once the weekend was over.

That reminded her of Saturday. Another problem she needed to address. (Y/N) had a feeling that she shouldn't go, but on the other hand, she felt bad since it was only studying. Well, if she was being honest, the teen wasn't too sure that it would only be studying, yet she didn't want Yukio thinking that that was all she thought of him. (Y/N) had figured out from being with the boys and seeing how they act at school, that they had come to befriend (Y/N) because she didn't try to be all flirty or cute around them. That fact gave her security. Yukio probably just wanted a friend, nothing more, nothing less.

Well, that's what she told herself at least. In reality, she couldn't help but have a nagging feeling that the boys thought of her as something more than a friend. She both hoped this was and wasn't the case. It may sound strange, but she did find the boys attractive, yet she also held feelings for Keshi. If given the choice, (Y/N) would certainly choose Keshi, but there was something exciting about having boys like them being attracted to a girl like her. Also knowing that they liked her would cure many of her suspicions of their behavior, as well as give her a somewhat plausible reason to distance herself from them.

At this point in time, (Y/N) had at last reached her home. She let herself in, putting away the items that she had just purchased. (Y/N) rubbed her temples, sighing quietly to herself. Her (E/C) orbs drifted to a nearby clock. She had been at the square for about thirty minutes. It wasn't very late yet, but (Y/N) decided that a shower couldn't hurt.

It felt nice to have the warm water running down her back, letting her muscles relax and letting her head feel just a bit lighter as she hummed an airy tune. She didn't know how long she was in there. All time began to feel irrelevant. By the time (Y/N) got out of the shower, she almost didn't feel the warm tears flowing down her cheeks. She won't know why she felt that way. She had convinced herself that everything was fine. But with the cold hitting her skin, the quiet emptiness of the house, she truly felt all alone.

"Dammit. You're stronger than this." (Y/N) stated to herself, aggressively wiping her eyes.

After that, she binge-watched a couple of episodes of her favorite show while eating her newly bought snacks. The emptiness still weighed on her. By the time she was lying in bed, drifting off to sleep, she finally understood why.
