As I touched upon before Female Centaurs are aggressive as shit. When a centaur wanted to mate with a female centaur they have to ask permission 3 times, get approval 3 times in a row and succeed 3 trials, which is usually something insanely dangerous, if they fail they get stabbed and beat up.
Which is another reason Chiron didn't want to marry a female centaur. That and he heard it was common for female centaurs to cut off a testicle with a hot knife while the make centaur is passed out drunk.
