When a child/legacy of Hecate is around 3 months pregnant, or their partner is pregnant with their child, the baby will show signs of magic. It's usually something simple like make objects float, turn a solid object into a liquid and even mess with technology, in very rare cases the baby will protect, their mother at all cost, in one instance there was a daughter of Hecate living during World War 2, she was 3 months pregnant, when food became scarce, the baby made random objects into food and when soldiers were harassing her, the baby made deadly objects such as broken glass, bricks, metal pipes and shovels fly at the soldiers, the objects hit and injured the soldiers, then the baby teleported them and their mother to safety, in Canada. Later when she couldn't move much because of her feet swelling, the baby magically did all her errands for her, such as summon groceries, clean the house, and tend to the backyard garden.
Even after the baby is born they still protect their family. In another instance, a son of Hecate and his wife, a legacy of Poseidon were sleeping when a fire broke out in their apartment, the baby sensed the fire before their parents and was frightened by it, so the baby panicked, started to cry and caused all the pipes in the building to burst and the nearby fire hydrant erupted and sprayed towards the apartment complex. This caused their parents to wake up, their mother helped control the water to put out the fire and their father helped soothe the baby and helped them escape.
