Hinawakan ko ang pisngi niya at nginitian siya. Tumingin ako sa tatay niya na pinapanood lang kami.
"How's your foot, sir?" I asked. Tiningnan ko rin ito para siguraduhin na nagamot ito ng maayos.
"It's getting better. Thank you."
"You have to wait for a few days, sir, before it completely heals. I'll let someone assist you so you can get back on your feet."
Tumango siya at ngumiti sa akin.
"Thank you, Doctor. For helping us."
"It's always a pleasure to help. You can also just call me Margaux."
