Welcome to Writer in Action!

For those of you who have never entered before, the concept is pretty simple. We choose a prompt/theme and all you have to do is use it as inspiration to write any literary piece (short story, poem etc.) in the comment section down below. Got it? Good.

Your writing will be judged on:

1. The creativity and originality

2. Language and punctuation and grammar

3. How well you included the prompt

The prompt this week is:

"Her eyes were eager with vengeance. She took one step, then two, and with each the lightning and thunder overhead raged on in emphasis. On another the night, the thunderstorm would have definitely hindered her, but not tonight. Tonight, Maia balled her fists and narrowed her eyes. Tonight she was going in for the kill. And neither lightning nor thunder could stop her."

Wow! Excited? Wait it gets better!

The prize for this game is *insert very drawn out and extra drumroll here*:

A strike immunity for the following week
