I ran off back towards training school and straight to Andrew's office.

"Andrews!" I slammed my hands down on his desk.

"Alex, what's wrong?" His coffee spilt out down his shirt.

"I need your help I need to be assigned to the 2nd district York! I can't explain why it's a long story but if you could help in any way that would make my life a lot easier?" Andrews could see the determination and emotion in my eyes. The fact I came marching into his office he could see I desperately needed help.

"Of course I will help you, Alex, I will try my best. I can see this is important to you. You can always trust me after all our time spent together I would like to think I'm your friend not just your senior?"

"Andrews you are so much more than you will ever know to me, I have loved every moment we have shared together," He looked up at me as he wiped the coffee away surprised.

As I spat those words out, I left his office in a hurry not even waiting for his reaction because deep down I knew it was wrong to even say those words out loud. But it was my thing I always did speak from my heart then run.

I went back and started to pack one more day left until the final test then I could be out of here.

I broke all the news to Zoe who wasn't happy I would be leaving so soon.

"Alex you never know I may get sent to York too then we could start a new assignment together it wouldn't be the same without you?"

"That would be good Zoe I would love that maybe Andrews will sort it for us,"

"I'm going to miss this stupid place and the friends we have made."

"I am too Zoe but remember we need to find more rebels to defeat the Officials that is our objective, maybe York will have a big rebel gang already and waiting we can wish can't we?"

That night we talked all night until we just fell asleep, the alarm woke us for the last time.

Our usual routine, I would get up first to shower and put the music really loud to wake Zoe up, Zoe would just walk in while I was still in the shower and every time it would still shock me, after our breakfast we all waited in the meeting room to be called off in groups for the tests.

I was put in a small group of five, Warren was with me. We were taken into a room we had never been in before it was full of computers and had another small room with glass all around and what looked like a dentist chair in the middle. They had monitors everywhere in the room and outside. We all looked nervous and hoped we wouldn't have to go first.

"Warren you're up first the rest of you please sit here and observe do not move from these chairs.

Warren entered the glass room and sat in the chair, a man came and put two patches on his forehead and connected them to a small computer, he gave Warren some kind of blue tablet we couldn't hear anything the man was saying we could only see what was happening. Warren went to sleep only a few seconds later. We all looked at each other in shock I whispered to the girl next to me

"What's happening, I didn't know we get put to sleep?"

"Yes, apparently they can read your thoughts and reactions better,"

"Okay rookies, what's going to happen now is your friend here is asleep, we have patches on his head which connect to his brain where we can read all the information stored we can see how much he has learnt and we can fully test his thinking ability and brain capacity, it doesn't hurt at all so don't worry and we only look for the information we need,"
