'Aww man!!!! It's so hot!!'

Laying on my back, paws and stomach facing the ceiling, hoping to cool down. It's summer and being in this form, a large, white, fluffy wolf in summer, is not good to be in, I was practically panting due to this heat.

Hiding under Yukio's desk, while he was working wasn't really a good idea, but being near either him or Rin helped make me forget about the heat, but only a bit. I whined to Yukio and he saw how bad I was getting.

"Why don't you go lay on either mine or Rin's bed, because you look real cramped under there" I understood what he meant, because I did look deformed here, so I got out and laid on his bed; facing my stomach to the ceiling again. I suddenly felt a familiar presence, but it left a bad feeling in my stomach, as a way of saying that something bad was going to happen.

Rin had just arrived back home from the grocery store and was talking to Yukio, but it seemed Yukio wasn't quite happy with what Rin was saying and it made Rin annoyed with how Yukio was speaking to him.

"What the hell, I said I'm sorry!" -Rin

"It's not just that, it's the way you fight, you rely too much on Satan's power. During a fight, you shouldn't be so quick to draw your sword and it doesn't matter how fast you heal, you can't keep using your body as a shield when you run out of options. If you keep doing things like that, well then Satan's power will completely consume you" -Yukio

'He has a point with that'

"What? Who gives a damn how I did it? It worked and everyone was safe, you sound just like the old man, lecturing me. Besides you almost got killed too" I gave a little whine to this, because he just mentioned Shiro.

"I'm telling you this because I want to help you. Dad would want the same thing, he's probably spinning in his grave right now worrying about you" -Yukio

"Yeah right, like that old fart ever cared that much about anything I did?" -Rin

'No Rin.... You're wrong, he did care for you. He deeply did'

"Old fart huh? when are you going to stop acting like some rebellious teenager? Don't you think it's about time you grew up?!" -Yukio

'This isn't looking good'

"Oh yeah? Well when are you gonna stop acting like some big shot, walking around like you're the man, cause you're all brainy and stuff; and Shiemi's crushing on you" -Rin

"Huh? What does Shiemi have to do with anything I'm talking about? Besides she is not crushing on me and I don't walk around like I'm the man" -Yukio

'Oh boy Rin let it slip. He's Obviously jealous about the fact that Shiemi likes Yukio'

"Oh my god she totally is! You've got four eyes, four eyes, how can you not see that?! you gotta be one hell of a moron" -Rin

"I'm a moron huh? I wonder what that makes you then, seeing as how you can't even run a simple errand?" -Yukio

"Oh, I can't believe you're still whining about that?" -Rin

"Your fighting is sloppy, you use brute force because you lack knowledge and skill!" -Yukio

'I don't like how this is going....'

"Why don't you try using your head for a change?!" -Yukio

"Four eyed, piece of crap!" and with that he knocked Yukio's glasses off his head, causing them to break against the roof, then land perfectly back on his head. They both fell silent for a bit due to shock of what just happened, but it was later broken by Rin laughing at Yukio, with how his glasses landed.
