Once I got home from the airport, all I did was mope around the house. My mom was getting frustrated at my constant crying. She had no idea what had happened. I ignored her every time she asked me what was wrong. I just really wanted my best friend right now. I picked up my phone and started to text Alexa.

I looked out of the window to see the raining pouring and the trees banging against my window. We weren't evacuating because my mom insisted our 12,000 square foot house would be fine.
