[bittersweet and strange]

NAMJOON

I trudged through the hallway leading out of my school with a heavy heart.

If only that bitch hadn't tried to seduce me.

Y/N would still be.. here.. and maybe I could've confessed.

I kicked a nearby locker causing all the books to fall out of it.

              Everytime we touch, I get this feeling
          and everytime we kiss I swear I could fly.
             Can't you feel my heart beat fast? Want this
                to last. Need you by my side.

I cursed myself and clenched my fists so hard my knuckles turned white.

As I left my school building, I caught sight of a familiar figure.

No way, that can't be her...

My curiosity got the better of me, obviously, and so I followed her.

She appeared to be crying heavily and she seemed mad at something ; I had a feeling it was me.

Suddenly she turned around and gasped in shock at the sight of me.

I seized this opportunity to the fullest.

"Y/N, please listen to me... I know I fucked up but you have to believe me when I say I don't love that girl. I..I love you. Please believe me. I can't live without you."

It took her a few moments to digest what I had just said.

Then, a single teardrop fell from her eye, her body trembling.

"Then don't."

Before turning around and walking away leaving my heart shattered in a million pieces.
