monday came quicker than everyone thought. sarang was feeling a little ill, but it was nothing serious. just little flu and coughs.

she put on her uniform, pinning her name tag on her blouse. she slips on her shoes, slinging the bag over her left shoulder and left the house. her parents went on a business trip if you are wondering.

she plugged in her earphones, walking on the sidewalks whilst she ignores everyone's presence.

the building of the school slowly came in her vision, she made a disgusted face and she walked in. keeping her unbothered image as usual.

walking to her locker, she could hear murmurs around her, even though her earphones were plugged in.

she removes one side of her earphones, lowering her volume as her ears perked up to hear the big news.

students talked about the new student enrolling to the school. from what she heard, they said she was pretty, with a nice body figure as well. she was still confused but shrugged it off.

she organized her locker, before placing her project inside. a tap was felt on her left shoulder, she turned her head to the owner. a person came into her vision, someone she wished not to see.

"long time to see eh?" that smirk plastered on her face, samantha. that one name which could make sarang flip tables, or even her.

"ah, i don't miss you at all," she said, sniffing. a small fake smile plastered on her lips.

"how have you been doing?" samantha leaned on the locker next to hers. sarang purposely slammed the locker door, making her jumped out of her position.

"it was nice but now you're here," sarang replied, with a smile. obviously a fake one. she walked to her classroom, leaving the girl she despises dumbfounded.

she slumped on her chair, her hands tangled with the pencil as she clicks the pencil on the surface of the table.

"did you heard about the new girl talking to sarang?" a whispered caught her attention, making her stop clicking her pencil.

"yeah, that's a first," she slightly tilted her head, to see the owner of the whispers she heard.

it was none other than the two busybodies; minah and minor.

she scoffed, clicked her tongue from seeing how nosy they are. she then continues to scribble on her notebook, completely shutting herself out from the world.

the recess bell rang, students greeted their teacher in charge goodbye before rushing off to wherever they are going in school's ground.

sarang packed her stuff, taking out her lunch box and walked out of the nearly empty classroom. she walked past everyone and made her way to the garden, of course to her favorite spot.

she rushed there before anyone could find out her little 'hideout'. she sat on the soft grass, taking out her lunch box and placed it on top of the grass.

she opened the lid, various food greeted her as her lips curled into a smile. she picked up her fork, taking a sausage into her mouth. she munched on the sausage slowly, letting out a satisfied hum.

the grass beside her sank, making her turned her head towards the owner of the person. it was none other than mr jeon jeongguk.

"hello!" he greeted with a grin, sarang swallowed her sausage, before greeting him back. "you're not hanging out with yoongi?" she asked, shoving a spoon of rice into her mouth, making her cheeks puff again.

"n-no," he stuttered, mainly because his heart was beating fast, it was unusually fast; in a good way. he admits, he likes seeing how her cheeks puff when she stuff foods into her mouth.

even how she collapses after a tiring school day, just everything about her is perfect. of course to him.
