she entered her apartment unit tiredly, she flickered the lights on. in the corner of her eye, an envelope caught her attention.

grabbing it with her to the living room of her apartment, she ripped the envelope open and took out the folded piece of paper inside.

unfolding it, her eyes scanned through the words written.

dear sarang,

        by the time you received or read this, i'm already on the plane. sarang i'm sorry for leaving but i will be gone for about a year or so. please wait for me.

       despite long distance, i hope we can contact each other more often than in we used to. study well my love and pass that degree you're working on.

       you'll pass the exam, stop stressing out about it. i had always knew you were smart, and i'm happy that my beautiful girlfriend is a smartie.

      that's all for now, i'll see you soon love.

that's when her heart dropped down to the ground, her lips formed a frown, her emotions were messed up and weren't able to be clarified if it's sad or just numb.

the words chanting in her head; 'i'll be gone for about a year or so' has been haunting her. the feeling of being alone in seoul, was creeping her.

ever since she started degree, the only motivation she got was from jungkook. every time they hung out, she wanted to pass this degree, get a nice job and buy jungkook something that he would like.

but all that, was just somehow hurting him. now that her motivation were out of country, working hard, she felt as if she couldn't succeed anything in life.

since she's depending on jungkook.

she shook the thoughts away, wiping the tears that rolled down her cheeks when she place the letter down on the coffee table.

inhaling the air, she cooled down a little before reaching out her hands to grab her phone.

she pressed on the chatting application, tapped on jungkook's contact name and started texting him.

to jungkook ♡
please come back soon love, i miss you

those words were the only words that able to be typed by her shaky hands. as much as she wanted to type in a long paragraph, she couldn't.

the tears that welled up in her eyes, glassed her vision. she brings her palm closer, her face buried into them as she sobs.

it hurts, it really does. but her only goal right now, is to contact him everyday if she could, pass that degree and buy him the things he like, exactly how she planned.

wiping her tears, she scanned her calendar that was lying on the coffee table.

one more month to go before the exam.

she managed to tugged a small smile on her lips, grabbing her book as she revised her studies.

i'll wait for you jungkook, and i'll make my wish on making you happy will come true.
