❝ confession ❞
yoongi and jungkook went to the police station after they payed their visit to sarang who's still in the hospital.
jungkook told everything to the policeman in charge, spilling every secret he knew about samantha. the policeman didn't say anything, but listen to the bunny boy.
the visit took some time, the policeman asked a lot of questions which relate to the situation. the two did not hesitate to spill everything.
after they were done, the both bowed and left the station.
"i'm going back to the hospital, wanna come?" jungkook asked the older, who's busy texting on his phone. "nah, i have a date with jina, adios," the older waved lazily as he left.
jungkook chuckled and left to the hospital, which was coincidentally the opposite side of the police station they had just went.
the nurses smile at the familiar face, already use to jungkook coming everyday just to meet sarang. he informed the school he wouldn't be attending classes for around one week, which he school only agreed.
he push the door open, the room was dark, the only source of light was from the window which was almost covered with the curtain.
sarang was sound asleep, with the air freshening on. the smoke that came out filled the area which was the bedside table.
he sat down by the chair next to her bed, grabbing her hand as he held tight onto it. "gosh, what did i do to deserve you?" he said, muttering every word.
her fingers twitched, making jungkook placing her hand back to the side of her body as he pretended like nothing happened.
"you're back?" she said, her voice hoarse due to her wake up. jungkook nodded, not knowing what else to answer. sarang sit up, staring at the bunny boy who's head hung low, his hands fiddling with each other on his thighs.
"what's wrong?" the girl asked, not aware of why the boy's actions like this. jungkook shook his head, pulling out a smile before excusing himself to the bathroom.
sarang sat there, eyebrow raising as confusion washed over her face. "what?" she muttered, grabbing the book by her side table and read it.
jungkook sat on the toilet bowl which was covered by the lid, biting his lip as his fingers fidgeting. "why am i so awkward with girls?" he asked himself, his voice slight echoed. "useless," he muttered to himself, flushing the toilet even though he didn't use it.
he unlocked the door, his vision got greeted with a girl reading her book calmly. seeing this side of sarang melted him, how innocent and cute she look doesn't matches her at all.
his feet shuffled beside the girl, staring at her features, she didn't seem to notice the boy's stare.
"sarang-ah," he started, making the girl snapped out of her silent reading. "hm?" she hummed, closing the book while she place it on the table.
"is it weird if i asked you out?" he asked, biting his inner cheek, not wanting a rejection soon. the girl only stare at him confusingly, soon get what he meant.
"nah," she said, the boy's eyes lit up, having high hopes he is getting a chance. "so i shall start," he grinned, making the girl nodded for him to proceed.
"i, jeon jungkook, want to confess my love for you, min sarang. the first day i laid my eyes on you, i knew you are the one. i don't do cheesy so please be my girlfriend?" jungkook asked, mentally praying for a yes.
"sounds cheesy," the girl said, her voice covered slightly with teasing. "but yes. of course i'll be," sarang said, smiling as the boy grinned from ear to ear, hugging the girl close to him.
"your confession sounds super cheesy," sarang blurted out, making the boy pouted. sarang laughed and ruffle his hair.
