The next day, they're bound to leave today. Jade woke up as early as she could and made her way downstairs to meet the others and catch their ten AM flight.

As she reached the lobby, she saw their other friends near the counter. Harry was the one who saw her first and approached her.

"Hey Jade, let me carry that for you." He said with a smile and took all of Jade's luggage.

"Thanks, Haz," She said while looking around. "Uhm, Harry, have you seen Perrie? She's not in her room when I woke up early today."

"Oh, she didn't tell you? Well, she took an earlier flight than us since she has to attend an urgent meeting. But no worries, she told us to drop you off on our way home." She only nodded as a reply before they made their way to the airport and go home.

-

Two days had passed ever since they got back and not much happened besides the fact that Perrie and I still haven't seen each other after forty-eight hours. Zara, her head maid, told her that after arrival from Hawaii, she only left her things and left without another word. And she also told her that Perrie was always like that everytime she has to attend some kind of important and urgent meetings.

Liam, on the other hand, told her that Perrie has to attend some kind of business trip and he's not sure when she'll be back.

"Hey, let me help you carry those," She said and took the other bags from Zara who just got home from grocery shopping.

"Oh, there's no need, Miss, I can handle it."

"No, I insist." She said and the girl gave up and let Jade carry the other bags. They placed it on the counter. "And besides, I'm bored and I wanna do something. You guys won't let me help when she's around." She pouted. Zara laughed.

"Why don't you go out with your friend or visit your family? I'm sure they miss you."

"They're far from here, sadly." She admitted and frowned a little. But she quickly brushed it when she saw what Zara is doing. "What are you gonna cook?" She asked giddily as she watched the blonde maid chop some vegetables.

"Mince and dumplings," She said with a smile. "Miss Edwards will come back today, isn't she?"

Jade just nodded. She really had no idea that Perrie's arrival would be today.

"Is this her favorite?" She asked and attempted to help Zara which she succeeded to do when the blonde girl smiled.

"Yes, it is, she always asks me to cook this whenever she gets back from a business trip."

"Oh, really?" Zara nodded. "How long have you known her?"

"When she was still a kid. Yeah, we look like we're at the same age but I'm actually older than her. We're good friends when we were kids but when her Mom died? It changed." She gave Jade a sad smile. "Her father was the one who hired me, I was only twelve that time and Perrie was six. He needed a babysitter for her and I volunteered since my family needed the money. And because of how well I performed, they hired me permanently and became her personal maid."

"Where's her Dad?" Jade knows she's being nosy but she didn't care. This was her only chance of getting to know the blonde without asking her anything.

"Her Dad passed away a year ago. And now she's the one taking care of their company that's why seemed very busy at work. Haven't she told you that?" The brunette shook her head. "Seriously? You two are married but she won't even open things like that to you?" Zara sighed. "Well, I can't blame you though. Ever since she was a kid, she's been good at keeping things to herself. When she was still a kid, I've noticed how quiet she gets when something's bothering her and I think she still has that attitude nowadays."
