It was almost midnight when Perrie got back to their house. She had to finish all the papers that she left that's why she didn't notice the time.

As she opened the door, all the lights were off and everybody seemed to be asleep already. She went to the kitchen to drink some water and kind of refresh herself.

She was about head upstairs when she noticed something move on the couch inside the living room. She shook her head once she realized what caused the movement. The blonde quickly made her way over the couch and realized that she was indeed right.

It was Jade.

She kneeled in front of her and looked at her beautiful and innocent face. She tucked the hair covering her face behind her ear.

How could she tell her everything? She sighed. What if Jade would get mad at her? What if she wouldn't understand her reasons? Especially the reason to why she married her in the first place. And what if Jade would look at her differently if she'll tell her who she really is?

"Perrie?" She returned to reality when she heard Jade's soft voice. She didn't notice that she woke her up.

"Did I woke you up?" She asked while caressing her cheek. Jade shook her head. "Why did you sleep here?"

"I was waiting for you. I didn't know I would fell asleep." She said. "Is there something wrong, Perrie?" The brunette must've noticed her a few minutes ago when she was deep in thought.

She looked at the blonde carefully. She could see that she wanted to tell her something. Perrie sighed.

"Let's go upstairs. You should sleep there and not here." The blonde said and Jade just nodded.

"Good morning, Z," She greeted Zara as soon as she entered the kitchen. The maid had just returned from her day-off.

"Good morning to you too, Jade," She greeted back with a smile. "Oh, Perrie told me that she wanted you to go to her study," Zara said with a wink before disappearing into the other room.

Even if it confused her, she just did what she was told and head upstairs to go to Perrie's study. She knocked on the door three times before opening it. She saw her wife sitting on her chair with her glasses on, reading something that Jade assumed was related to her work.

It was the very first time that she'd seen her wife wearing glasses and Jade admits that she looks even hotter with the glasses on.

Perrie looked up and gave her wife a small smile after removing her glasses.

"Sit down," She told the brunette and the older Geordie obliged.

And something flashed back in her mind. She remembered that this room was the same room that the blonde asked her hand for marriage. Well, technically asked, more like forced her to marry her.

"I have to tell you something." The blonde told her, making Jade look up at her. "It's about our wedding." She added.

And then Jade felt nervous all of a sudden. So many thoughts filled her mind. And one of those thoughts were...what if in this same room, Perrie would end their marriage as well? With the thought of that, she can already feel her heart slowly breaking. She wouldn't be able to live in peace and harmony if that'll happen. She wouldn't know what to do without the blonde by her side.

"W-What do you mean about our marriage?" She asked nervously.

"The reason behind it," Perrie answered. "I know that you're confused to why I asked you to marry me before. Now is the time to tell you everything. All the answers to your questions, I'll give them to you. Just promise me one thing..." Her face remained serious and it showed no emotion.

"What is it?"

"Promise me that nothing will change between us." She said while looking straight into her eyes.

"I-I...I promise."

"All of this happened because of my Dad's last will." Perrie started.

"All of his shares, money, and business would only be transferred under my name if I marry someone. And that's not all, he also wanted me to have a child."

Jade didn't know how to react. Did all that happened between them was just because of her Dad's last will?

Perrie leaned back on her chair and continued.

"He's a cruel person. Even if he's already dead, he still wanted to be in control of everything. Even my life." The blonde scoffed. "He made that will because he wanted someone to still run the business even if he's already dead. He's a control freak, obviously. All he thinks about is himself. And money is the only thing important in his life."

"B-but, why me? Out of all people, why did you choose me?" Jade tried her best to not let her voice break.

"Why did I chose you? I don't know. I can't tell, honestly." She said, staring at her. "The only thing I know is that, I didn't regret choosing you to be my wife."

Jade bit her lip, stopping herself from letting the tears fall.

"Perrie..."

"You changed me, Jade. You made me the person that I didn't know I'd become. You tamed the devil in me." She admitted to the brunette.

Tears slowly fell down Jade's eyes. What should her reaction be? Instead of getting upset or angry at her wife, it seemed like her feelings for the blonde only grew stronger.

She sobbed. She buried her face in her hands. And because of this, Perrie ran in front of her. You could tell that she's worried because you can see it in her eyes. The blonde wrapped her arms around the brunette and let her cry onto her shoulder.

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you earlier. It doesn't matter for me to tell you the truth, but that was before. I know you're upset at me right now and you have every rights to be. I'll give you time." She said while rubbing Jade's back. "Just please, Jade, don't leave." She pleaded.

Jade removed her hands from her eyes and looked at her wife with a blank expression.

"I'm mad at you," She said, emotionless. And this is what the blonde was talking about. She should've told her everything ever since the start. Why is she so stupid?

"But I'm mad at myself even more," Perrie slowly looked up to meet her wife's gaze. "Because I can't stay mad at you for too long. Maybe its because you've given me some kind of spell?" Jade added, her face still tear-stained.

And a smile appeared on the blonde's face. She thought that Jade was really mad at her.

"Maybe you were the one who cast a spell on me," Perrie answered, smiling.

"I hate you," Jade said, her tone was a mixture of playfulness and seriousness. She hugged the blonde and squeezed her neck.

"If you're not mad at me then why are you choking me? Maybe you really hate me." Perrie said, naughtily.  And Jade pulled away quickly. "I'm joking!" The blonde held her hands up.

And Jade laughed.

"Why are you laughing?"

"I couldn't believe that you just said you were joking." And it made the blonde smile like an idiot.

"I told you, you cast a spell on me." She pulled Jade closer to her. "Stop laughing or I will kiss you," Perrie said, a smirk visible on her face.

And instead of stopping, Jade continued to laugh hard. And Perrie's smirk grew bigger.

She cupped her face and pulled Jade close to her to claim her lips.
