"Are you sure that you really want to go?"

Jade's Dad asked her as she packed all her clothes inside her Disney themed suitcase. She looked at him and saw his pleading look, a look that wanted her to stay for a little longer.

But as much as she wanted to, she knows what's important and had to be done. And that is to see Perrie again.

She had to explain everything to her. Why she left the blonde that day to go and look for his Father who just got to New York for a business trip. She followed him there so they could talk and that's what she did. After a week, she got all the answers she needed, well, technically. She still has to listen to Perrie's side so she could clarify everything once and for all. That's why she has to go back to London today.

"Dad, we already talked about this, right? I have to take this flight tonight because I have to talk to Perrie."

The old man sighed. "I guess I have to let you go again, yeah?"

"Don't be silly, Dad. I'm just taking the earlier flight than you. In the span of two weeks, I know you'll be back to London and maybe we could grab some dinner with Perrie, how does that sound?" Jade beamed at her Dad. She knows how much he hates her wife but she explained everything to him as well. She told him how different Perrie is from her Father and she even asked him to give the blonde a chance.

"I'd like that, hun." He said and kissed her daughter's forehead. "Now you finish packing, me and Jed will be waiting for you downstairs." And with that, he left her alone.

A lot has happened to her in one week of staying with his Father. And that includes some quality time with the lad that she met in Hawaii months ago. If she knew that he was working for her Dad, she would think twice about coming here to see her Father. She can never forget what happened the last time Perrie saw her with the lad so she kept her distance with him on the first two days of her stay. But on the third day, Jed told her that he understands and that his intentions were clean and he just wanted for them to be friends.

And being the kindhearted person she is, she let him in in her life again as her new friend.

Speaking of the lad...."You ready?"

She only nodded and bid her Dad goodbye before entering the car. It took them half an hour to reach the airport. Jed and she walked to the departure area and waited for her flight to be called. Once she heard the lady call her flight, she stood up and faced the lad.

"So, is this goodbye?" Jed asked nervously.

Jade chuckled. "No, silly. We'll still see each other soon. We'll keep in touch, okay?" The lad nodded and just before the brunette walks away, she turned and hugged him. "Thank you, for everything." She said.

"No worries, that's what friends are for, right?"

Jade pulled away and looked at him confused. "Only friends?"

"Well, I'd want us to be more than that but, well, you know." He said while scratching the back of his neck.

"You'll find the right girl for you soon." Jade winked.

"I already found her, in fact, I'm looking at her right now." He said and it made the brunette blush madly. "But I guess its too late now since she's already taken by somebody else."

Jade just smiled at him apologetically before waving him goodbye. And with that, she was off to see the love of her life again.

-

She was excited and nervous at the same time when she can already see their house from afar. She can't wait to see Perrie again but something's telling her that things would be different this time.

"We're here, Ma'am." The uber driver said and Jade thanked her before getting out of the car.

Many thoughts ran through her mind as she was walking to the door.

What if she'll ignore me? What if she gives me the cold shoulder again? Will she hate me for leaving and not telling her where I've been? Does she know where I went?

Those are just some of the questions running through her mind at the moment but she knew it will only be answered once she steps into the house and see the blonde again.

So that's what she did. She opened the door, only to be met by the blonde's back. She was busy talking to someone over the phone that she didn't notice her wife's presence. Jade placed her bags on the side before slowly walking behind the blonde. Right after the call, the brunette carefully wrapped her arms around the blonde's waist and engulfed her in a hug. She nuzzled her face on her back and embraced her tighter.

"Perrie..." She said in a low and weak voice once she pulled away and was now met by the blonde's cold stare. "I---"

But before she could even finish her sentence, it was now the blonde's turn to hug her. Tight. Like she was taking the life out of her.

"I missed you, Jade." She whispered in the brunette's ear and it made Jade's heart jump out of joy. How she missed hearing her lovely voice and warm hugs. The younger Geordie pulled away and cupped her wife's face, looking straight into her favorite pair of eyes. "Where have you been? I've been looking for you everywhere. I don't know where to find you. I-I thought that y-you left me." She said while looking away. "I'm such an idiot, Jade. What can I do to make you forgive me? I'll do it, just please...don't leave me all alone again."

Jade gave her a small smile and caressed the blonde's right cheek. "It wasn't your fault that I left you for a while. I just went to see my Dad to clarify things. I didn't tell you because I didn't want to, I don't know why though. But, I'm here now. I won't leave you again."

And the blonde just hugged her again, not saying a word, just enjoying the warmth that her wife is giving her.

A week without Jade was hell to Perrie. She couldn't think straight, she didn't know what to do nor where to go. It's  like a part of her was lost when Jade was missing. Afterall, they were like a missing puzzle piece of each other. She was a mess without the brunette.

But now that she's here, she'll make sure that Jade won't leave her like that again. Jade was hers and nothing could take her away from her. Not even her own Father.
