Thomas had seen your name on the wall.

Thomas was a very curious person. Ever since he got the tour of the Glade he would come back to one specific wall from the maze, the wall containing all the names. This time he was just walking around with Alby and had subconsciously guided Alby towards that spot.

"Alby, who is [your name]?" Thomas asked, looking at your name and pointing towards it. It was a rather feminine name and outstanding among all the other male names. Thomas was drawn to it.

"She's the only girl in the glade. You'll see her at the bonfire we're having tonight," Alby smiled, putting a hand on the newbie's shoulder. "But, don't try to make a move on her greenie. You'll be dead meat then." Alby warned Thomas, patting his shoulder a little harder than normal and walked away.

Everyone was always very protective of you. Never has a guy succeeded in wooing you because of Alby. He was like a big brother to you, protecting you since the very start. the day you came into the glade, he had taken you under his wing.

Alby's threat couldn't prevent Thomas' curiousness. You were the only girl, how couldn't Thomas be interested in you?

Thomas already had respect for you. He wasn't planning on doing anything crazy to you but he did want to get to know you. Something about your name and the way he heard some people talk about you made him adore you. He had heard stories about you already, even though he had been in the glade for maybe two days.

Your personality sounded too good to be true and now Alby- who was very fond of you- warmed him to not do anything to you. So Thomas knew. He knew that there was something very special about you.
