Thomas is new in the Glade.

Thomas was sitting next to Newt, they had bonded rather quickly over all the days. It had been a week since Thomas arrived in the Glade and Newt already had a nickname for him. Was Newt trying to replace you?
"Tommy, do you see my friend over there?" Newt asked as he pointed at you talking with Frypan.
He nodded after he followed Newt's finger all the way over to you.
"What do you think of them?"
Newt had turned around already, but Thomas was still looking at you. "They look pretty, but haven't talked to them yet. . . why?"
"Let's go talk to them, shall we?" Not waiting for a respond Newt stood up and walked towards you, Thomas trailed behind him, not sure what Newt's plan was this time.
"Newt," you greeted as he slugged his arm around. your shoulders. His drink on the drink of falling on you. "So, this is the boy who's stealing Newt from me?"
"Oh, m sor--"
"I'm just kiddin'." You turned to Newt. "How does he not understand sarcasm when he is around you this much."
"Jealous that the 'attractive' boy likes me more than you?" Newt mocked your words from earlier this week. And you finally saw his plan.
"All this effort to get me laid?" You laughed.
"All you need to do is chat Tommy here up."
You rolled your eyes and pushed Newt away, "Go be drunk somewhere else," you said turning to Thomas. "I'm sorry, normally he's more--actually, no-- he's always like this."
"So, er, you thought I was attractive?"
"First time flirting, Tommy?" You asked as you put your hand on his bicep.
The tip of his ears turned red, "Can't really remember ever doing this before, so, I guess."
"I can teach you."
