Everyone can see how scared the new Greenie is. They stand around him like he's an animal from the circus. You try to make them go away.
"Guys that's enough."
Nobody moves and the Greenie still is surrounded by the Gladers. He looks even more scared than before, he's terrified. You feel bad for him.
"I said that's enough!" you firmly say, louder than before.
Everybody turns to look at you. They can see the irritation on your face, growing each second. Some Gladers walk away, others stay here but take a step back.
You offer your hand to the Greenie and smile, "Sorry about those shanks, I'm {your name}, welcome to the Glade."
