You hear it but you don't care. You have to do your job, whether the enemy fights back or not.
You bring your knee to his stomach once more. You hit him with the gun grip in the back and he falls down. You hear someone coming from your behind but you didn't turn around fast enough.
Someone hit you very hard in the head with something. You immediately stumble back. Your free hand flies to your head. You look at it and your hand is drained with blood.
Your eyes shoot to the person who's helping Newt up. You take a step closer and you try to keep your balance.
You throw your gun to the ground, they both look at it with confusion in their eyes and back at you.
"Thomas?" you whisper. You fall down and can hear the two boys run to you and calling your name.
