Chapter 13

That night I wasn't able to go back to sleep so instead I simply laid awake in bed staring at my ceiling. As I stare at my ceiling I think of Carlisle and what I should tell him when we meet again. I shouldn't of told him I knew of vampires and that I knew they were vampires. I was stupid to do that. By the time my alarm clock rings I'm already dressed and ready to go. I'm the only one up at the moment so I make myself some pancakes making sure to leave some extra for dad and Bella then I head out the door. As I reach my bike I see that it has some sort of device the will stop me from being able to ride it. Great dad must have done this while I was asleep.. lord knows how long it will be until I'm able to ride my baby again. As if on queue my father walks out dressed in his uniform. He walks up to me and says to me what I dread the most. "I put those on to keep you from driving.. I don't want you driving right now so Bella will drive you for now until I say so." I glare at him then angrily sign. "Why?! It was a minor accident and it wasn't my fault! I don't want to ride with Bella, I want to ride my baby!" He sighs and says to me. "Sorry kiddo but I don't want to take any chances you'll just have to deal with it for now." And with that he kisses my forehead and heads towards his cruiser then drives away. I can easily get the chain things off of my motorcycle but I decide against it because that would get me in more trouble and make him take it away for a longer period of time. I'm snapped out of my thoughts when I hear the sound of our front door open and I turn to see Bella as she locks the front door. She turns around and spots me then smiles brightly. Walking over to me she goes to the passenger door and opens it gesturing for me to get in. I inwardly sigh and hop in the car. Bella slams the door shut making me jump however she wasn't looking so she thankfully didn't see that. Once she's in the car she turns up some music and then we drive to forks high school.

Bella and I finally arrive at the school and I quickly hop out of the truck leaving Bella behind. If anyone talks to me they will regret it.. I'm not in a good mood. As I pass people in the halls I ignore everyone including the Cullen's once I see them. The day passes by quickly and I have continued to ignore everyone.. even jasper but thankfully he made no effort to talk to me. Somehow he knew I was in a bad mood so he and his siblings left me alone. The bell rings signaling that it's time for lunch. Again not wanting to deal with anyone I skip lunch and head outside and sit by a nearby tree. I pull out my game of thrones book and open it up to chapter 7 then I begin to read. Once again the bell rings this time signaling for me to head to class. However I do not feel like dealing with anymore of school so instead I head out to the parking lot and stand by Bella's car waiting for school to end and me to finally go home.
